White Sox outright Frank De Los Santos to Triple-A

(10/1/2014) The White Sox outrighted pitcher Frank De Los Santos to Triple-A Charlotte, the team announced Wednesday.

De Los Santos spent most of his time at Charlotte this season, posting a 5.75 ERA and 17:17 K:BB ratio in 36 innings. The move opens up a 40-man roster spot for the White Sox.

(5/3/2014) White Sox pitcher Frank De Los Santos was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte after Saturday's loss to the Indians.

De Los Santos was brought up earlier Saturday to provide some insurance for the bullpen but wasn't used in the team's loss to the Indians. He returns to a 0.63 ERA in the minors while he awaits his shot at making his major-league debut.

(5/3/2014) The White Sox recalled relief pitcher Frank De Los Santos from Triple-A Charlotte prior to Saturday's game against the Indians, 670 AM radio in Chicago reports. De Los Santos has allowed just one run over 14 1/3 innings pitched in the minors.

(3/14/2014) Shortstop Carlos Sanchez was having an excellent spring for the White Sox, but that could not save him from being optioned Friday to Triple-A Charlotte. Joining him were pitcher Frank De Los Santos and Nestor Molina.

The 21-year-old Sanchez was 7 for 13 for a team-best .538 batting average in exhibition play. He also tied for the team lead with two stolen bases.
