He didn't make an appearance in either of the team's first two games, but manager Mike Matheny is still trying to formulate a plan on how to use the lefty specialist.
"I think we have a different dynamic with Randy," Matheny said Tuesday, per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "Randy is going to make it a little more challenging to make sure we’re putting guys in the right spots. It’s a whole different thought process and mentality (with him).”
