by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(3/10/2013) The Mets reassigned 10 players to minor-league camp Sunday, which included a few of their top prospects. Among the group of cuts included Zack Wheeler, Hansel Robles, Reese Havens and Cesar Puello. Also reassigned were Darin Gorski, Gonzalez Germen, Collin McHugh, Elvin Ramirez, Wilfredo Tovar and Juan Lagares.

Robles flying under the radar

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(2/4/2013) MLB.com reports Mets vice president of player development and amateur scouting Paul DePodesta said starting pitcher Hansel Robles has a chance to emerge as a top pitching prospect this year. "He was in (low Class A) Brooklyn this past year and was absolutely dominant in the league, and I think if you were to include the playoffs, he had a consecutive streak of not giving up an earned run in over 40 innings," DePodesta said. "He goes 90-94 with a good sinker. Also very good command. Good slider, good changeup, has a good idea of what he's trying to do on the mound."
