Eury De La Rosa picks up win Tuesday

(7/23/2014) Diamondbacks pitcher Eury De La Rosa earned a win Tuesday, walking one and striking out two in two-thirds of an inning in his team's 5-4 victory over the Tigers.

De La Rosa (2-0) came in with one out and two runners in scoring position, and he struck out the first batter he faced. After issuing an intentional walk to load the bases with two outs, he got out of the inning with another strikeout. De La Rosa owns a 3.18 ERA and 5:3 K:BB ratio in 5 2/3 innings.

(7/19/2014) Diamondbacks reliever Eury De La Rosa picked up his first relief win Friday night at home against the Cubs. He allowed a solo home run to Anthony Rizzo in the top of the sixth inning, but in the bottom of the inning his team rallied and scored three runs to guarantee the win for De La Rosa. De La Rosa has allowed two runs over his first five innings of relief this season.

(7/5/2014) Diamondbacks pitcher Eury De La Rosa is on his way to the big leagues Saturday.

Joe Thatcher was dealt to the Angels early Saturday, opening up a roster spot for De La Rosa. He posted a 7.36 ERA over 14 2/3 innings with the club last season.

(3/9/2014) The Diamondbacks announced a slew of roster moves Sunday, which included Eury De La Rosa, Ender Inciarte, Alfredo Marte and Zeke Spruill being optioned to Triple-A Reno.

The Diamondbacks also reassigned Nick Ahmed, Jake Barrett, Mike Bolsinger, Danny Dorn, Nick Evans, Jake Lamb, Adam Russell, Matt Stites and Bobby Wilson to minor-league camp.

(8/22/2013) Diamondbacks pitcher Eury De La Rosa allowed the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the eighth inning.

With Joey Votto at the plate, De La Rosa threw a wild pitch, allowing Shin-Soo Choo to score. The Diamondbacks ended up losing the game 2-1. He has a 1.23 ERA.

(8/11/2013) The Diamondbacks recalled pitcher Eury De La Rosa from Triple-A Reno Sunday. De La Rosa pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings for the Diamondbacks earlier in the season, and he's 3-5 with a 5.26 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 49:27 K:BB ratio in 49 2/3 innings with Reno.

(7/11/2013) With the All-Star break looming, the Diamondbacks optioned starter Tyler Skaggs to Class A Visalia Thursday, replacing him on the active roster with reliever Eury De La Rosa.

De La Rosa has a 5.14 ERA for Triple-A Reno and has never played in the majors.
