(6/4/2013) The Diamondbacks have sent pitcher Eric Smith outright to Double-A Mobile Tuesday. He went 1-3 with a 7.29 ERA in 19 relief appearances in the minors.

(3/15/2013) The Arizona Diamondbacks made a series of roster moves Friday, optioning pitchers Chase Anderson, Charles Brewer and Eury De La Rosa and outfielder Alfredo Marte to Triple-A Reno. Pitchers Eric Smith and Zeke Spruill and outfielder Keon Broxton were sent to Double-A Mobile.
