Angels drop Kobayashi

(3/4/2013) Less than a month after signing a deal, the Angels released pitcher Hiroyuki Kobayashi on Monday, the Los Angeles Times reports. Kobayashi joined the team in February after 12 seasons in Japan. He appeared in just three Cactus League games and posted a 4.50 ERA.
