Orioles promote two prospects to Triple-A

(7/17/2014) The Orioles announced Thursday outfield prospect Dariel Alvarez and first base prospect Christian Walker have been promoted from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Norfolk.

Alvarez hit .309 with a .487 slugging percentage, .819 OPS, 14 home runs, 20 doubles, 62 runs and 68 RBI in 91 games for Bowie, while Walker hit .301 with a .516 slugging percentage, .884 OPS, 15 doubles, 20 home runs, 58 runs and 77 RBI in 95 games.
