Josh Hader 'in perfect spot'

(6/24/2013) Orioles pitcher prospect Josh Hader didn't garner a lot of attention as a 19th-round draft pick in 2012, but his performance on the field is changing his outlook. Hader is 3-2 with a 1.94 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 11 starts for Class A Delmarva.
Hader, who made 17 relief appearances between Rookie League and low Class A in 2012, is 5-2 with a 1.92 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 28 career outings. He is striking out 10.5 batters per nine innings.
His performance certainly could warrant consideration for a promotion in the minors, but the Orioles seem content to let the 19-year-old develop at Delmarva, according to MASNsports.com.
"Right now, Josh Hader is in a perfect spot," Orioles director of player development Brian Graham said. "He's pitching well and making progress. There are so many parts of his development process that are continuing to improve. Right now he's in a very good spot."
