Morin was forced to come out of Saturday's game after facing just one batter against the Red Sox.

"I've never dealt with anything like this," Morin said. "It's frustrating. It's been frustrating."

Morin has a 6.00 ERA in 15 innings of work this season.

"It varies," Morin said. "It just felt kind of weird. No timetable right now. I'll just hope for the best and do everything I can to get it right."

Angels pitcher Mike Morin allows three runs in loss on Monday

by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(5/18/2015) Angels pitcher Mike Morin allowed three runs on one hit in just 2/3 of an inning on Monday in Los Angeles' 10-6 loss to the Blue Jays. Morin walked two hitters and allowed a single to load the bases before getting pulled.

Russell Martin then singled home two runs for Toronto.

"I can't remember the last time I've thrown eight balls in a row," Morin said to the Orange County Register. "Usually I'm pretty good at throwing strikes. Walking two guys in a row on four pitches is frustrating. It's something mechanical. I'll work it out with (pitching coach Mike Butcher)."

Morin is now 0-1 with a 6.43 ERA in 14 innings of work.

Angels' Salas, Ramos, Pestano and Morin self-destruct in loss

by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(4/23/2015) Angels relievers Fernando Salas, Cesar Ramos, Vinnie Pestano and Mike Morin all had poor outings in Thursday night’s 9-2 loss to the Athletics.

After Jered Weaver went six innings and gave up one run, Salas put runners on first and third to start the seventh. Ramos came in and immediately gave up an RBI single to Stephen Vogt.

Pestano then took over and immediately threw a wild pitch that scored a runner. He then gave up a homer to Billy Butler and later gave up an RBI single to Brett Lawrie.

Salas was credited with the loss. He's now 0-1 this season.

Morin then allowed three runs in the eighth inning.

Angels pitcher Mike Morin tagged for three-run homer Saturday

"We know the dimensions of the ballpark," Morin said. "I didn't execute the pitch -- bottom line."

Morin has posted a 4.91 ERA in 3 2/3 innings this season and may be fighting for a role with his struggles.

"I trust Sosh completely," said Morin. "It has nothing to do with that. I'll be ready day in and day out, whether it's the second inning or the 10th or the seventh. It's not weighing on my mind at all."

Angels' Mike Morin hoping to steal a spot in the bullpen

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(2/23/2015) Angels pitcher Mike Morin is hoping to earn a spot in the team's bullpen, according to Los Angeles Times.

Morin is hoping to claim the seventh inning role that was held by Kevin Jepsen last season. "Once Jeppy got traded to Tampa Bay that was my goal," he said.

In order to prepare for the job, Morin acknowledged that he needed to improve against left-handers. "I watched a lot of video this winter trying to diagnose what, when and why I struggled against left-handers," Morin said. "A lot of it had to do with the two-seam fastball I was throwing." He's been working on improving his sinker and slider during the offseason, and believes that should help against southpaws.

The 23-year-old posted a 2.90 ERA over 59 innings last year.
