(6/6/2015) Five days after calling up lefty reliever Edgar Ibarra, the Angels have dispatched him back to Triple-A Salt Lake City.

Ibarra allowed one run on four hits in four innings during the brief stint, his first in the major leagues.

(6/1/2015) The Angels promoted pitcher Edgar Ibarra from the minor leagues Monday, the team announced.

The move puts 13 pitchers on the team's roster. Ibarra failed to make the team out of spring training. To make room for Ibarra, the Angels demoted outfielder Alfredo Marte to Triple-A.

The move leaves Los Angeles with 61 players on their roster this spring.

(3/9/2014) The Twins made a slew of roster moves Sunday. The team announced pitchers Logan Darnell, Edgar IbarraBrooks Raley and Trevor May were optioned to Triple-A Rochester. 

The Twins also announced first baseman Kennys Vargas was optioned to Double-A New Britain, while infielder Jorge Polanco  and outfielder Max Kepler  were optioned to Class A Ft. Myers.

The Twins also reassigned pitchers Alex Meyer, Lester Oliveros and Yohan Pino, catchers Kyle KnudsonMatt Koch  and Stuart Turner, outfielders Byron Buxton  and Chris Rahl  and infielder Miguel Sano to minor-league camp.
