Dodgers trim roster

(3/31/2013) The Dodgers announced a flurry or roster moves Saturday, as their spring training schedule came to a close. 

The team designated Alfredo Amezaga , Peter Moylan and Matt Wallach for assignment, and optioned Stephen Fife, Alex Castellanos, Elian Herrera and Josh Wall to the minors. 

Amezaga inks minors deal

(1/5/2013) The Dodgers signed veteran infield Alfredo Amezaga to a minor-league deal Saturday, with the chance to earn a spot on the roster as a utility player. Amezaga has no appeared in a game since 2011, when he was with the Marlins and Rockies.
