(4/6/2013) The Angels signed infielder Bill Hall to a minor-league deal Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Times. Hill was cut on March 22 after failing to make the team during spring training due to a strained calf muscle.

He went .222/.500/.556 with a home run and an RBI in just seven games last season in the majors with the Orioles.

(3/15/2013) An MRI on Angels infielder Bill Hall has revealed a strained calf muscle and has no timetable for a return, according to MLB.com. He is competing for a bench spot with the Angels this spring. Hall has made just nine plate appearances this spring while batting calf and quad injuries and has been out since Feb. 27. He has three hits, all doubles.

(3/14/2013) MLB.com reports Angels infielder Bill Hall is scheduled to get an MRI on his left calf, which tightened up during infield drills Wednesday. Hall has been out of the lineup since late February because of right quadriceps tightness. "It's frustrating," Hall said.
