Suomi homers against D-Backs


(3/14/2009) Royals C John Suomi hit a two-run homer in the ninth for Kansas City on Saturday as the D-Backs dominated 11-3. Suomi went 1-for-2 in the game and is batting .600 on the spring in five at bats. After the game, however, Suomi was assigned to minor league camp. Outfielder Derrick Robinson and INF Corey Smith went with him.
