by Adam Moore | CBSSports.com (5/4/2013) Pirates shortstop Clint Barmes belted his first home run Saturday against the Nationals. Barmes ripped the two-run shot over the center-field fence in the fifth inning off starter Stephen Strasburg.
He also singled and scored in the third inning and finished 2 for 3 with two RBI and two runs scored in a 5-4 defeat.
Barmes, who is batting .192 on the year, is hitting .363 ( 8 for 22) with one home run, one double and four RBI in day games.
