(5/11/2013) Angels shortstop Brendan Harris led the way in hits for his team in a win at Chicago Friday. Harris recorded three of L.A.'s 11 hits.

Harris homered for the third time this season in the fourth inning off Dylan Axelrod. It was a solo shot with two outs. He added two singles and scored twice. Harris is batting .288.

Harris has homered in consecutive games and has gone 5 for 9 in May over five games and two starts.

Brendan Harris goes deep in defeat

by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com
(4/15/2013) Angels shortstop Brendan Harris homered for the first time since 2010 Monday during an 8-2 loss at Minnesota. Harris took starter Kevin Correia deep in the third inning for a solo blast to left field.

In an ironic twist, Harris' last homer came while playing with the Twins and against the Angels.

Harris went 1 for 4 in the game and is batting .250 after 16 at-bats for the Angels. The RBI was his second of the year. Harris has started twice in the last five games for L.A.

(3/31/2013) The Angels purchased the contract of infielder Brendan Harris from Triple-A Salt Lake Sunday. Harris has made the opening day roster as a backup infielder.

The 32-year-old Harris hit .250 this spring with four RBI over 56 at-bats. He last played in the majors in 2010 with the Twins.
