However, Boone Logan did little to help his cause on Tuesday against Tampa, misplaying two bunts and then not covering first base on a ball hit to the right side of the infield in the fifth inning.

(5/12/2006) The Chicago White Sox purchased the contract of right-handed reliever Agustin Montero from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday. The 28-year-old Montero was 1-0 with a 0.73 ERA and one save in 13 appearances for Charlotte this season and will get his first crack at the big leagues.
