Donachie re-assigned by O's


(3/11/2011) MLB.com reports that the Orioles re-assigned the following players to minor league camp on Friday: pitchers Mitch Atkins and Raul Rivero; outfielder Tyler Henson; and catchers Adam Donachie and Caleb Joseph.

O's assign six to minor leagues


(3/30/2010) The O's announced pitcher Alberto Castillo, catcher Adam Donachie and outfielder Jeff Salazar has been reassigned to minor league camp. Baltimore will hang on to infielder Scott Moore and right-handed pitchers Alfredo Simon and Ross Wolf, although they have also been reassigned to minor league camp as well. The trio will stay in major league camp to provide depth until the end of spring training.

Orioles extend six more spring invites


(1/28/2010) The Orioles have extended six more non-roster invites to spring training in Sarasota: catchers Adam Donachie and Luis Bernardo; infielders Blake Davis and Miguel Abreu; and outfielders Jonathan Tucker and Matt Angle.

(3/14/2009) Prized Orioles pitching prospects Chris Tillman and Jake Arrieta are among the seven non-roster players Baltimore has reassigned to its minor league camp. Joining the right-handers at the minor league complex in Sarasota on Saturday are right-handers Fredy Deza and Ryan Keefer; catchers Jose Reyes and Adam Donachie; and infielder Craig Brazell.

(3/26/2007) Orioles C Adam Donachie cleared waivers and was returned to the Royals.

Donachie might make squad


(3/19/2007) MLB.com reports that Adam Donachie's playing time is getting cut into because the Orioles are so healthy. He's a Rule 5 pick, so he could end up going back to the Phillies if he doesn't make the O's. He's hitting .250 with a homer and four RBI this spring. "We've seen a lot of good things out of this guy Donachie," said manager Sam Perlozzo. "I'm sure we'll try whatever means we can to try to keep him in the organization. We're a little thin in catching, so we'll just see if that's something we can pull off or not."

Donachie could make club as No. 3 catcher


(2/18/2007) Orioles C Adam Donachie was picked up from the Phillies in a trade of Rule 5 selections. He is inexperienced, but scouts think he could make the grade if the club decides to go with three catchers.
