Rodriguez may play some 1B

by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com
(2/27/2013) Tampa Bay infielder Sean Rodriguez played some first base in Grapefruit League play on Monday against Boston. Manager Joe Maddon noted that Rodriguez could see some time at first base this season, reports MLB.com Wednesday. "You have to figure with Longo at third, Escobar at short, Ryan Roberts at second, me at first, that gives you two extra right-handed bats in the lineup [against a left-hander]," Rodriguez said.
