Mark Teahen sent back to Diamondbacks

(5/3/2013) Less than five days after being acquired from Arizona, the Reds sent infielder Mark Teahen back to the Diamondbacks Friday because of a physical issue, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Teahen, who last appeared in the majors in 2011, will return to Triple-A Reno.

(4/30/2013) The Reds acquired Mark Teahen from the Diamondbacks Tuesday in exchange for cash or a player-to-be-named-later. He batted .211 with five RBI in 22 games for Triple-A Reno.

Teahen is expected to give Cincinnati depth at Triple-A Louisville.

(3/18/2012) The Washington Nationals made several roster moves on Sunday, including optioning outfielder and top prospect Bryce Harper to Triple-A Syracuse. Washington also optioned first baseman Tyler Moore, who homered Sunday, and catcher Jhonatan Solano to Syracuse. Infielder Mark Teahen was reassigned to minor league camp.
