Conger among those cut Sunday

(4/4/2010) The Angels finalized its 25-man roster on Sunday and the following players failed to make the team out of spring training: C Hank Conger, 3B Gary Patchett, SS Hainley Statia, SS Andrew Romine, OF Michael Ryan, OF Cory Aldridge, RP Ryan Chaffee and RP Francisco Rodriguez. Outfielder Terry Evans did make the team.

(3/26/2009) The Los Angeles Angels reassigned 2B Ryan Mount, SS Adam Pavkovich, Cs Hank Conger and Ben B. Johnson, OFs Peter Bourjos, Bradley Coon and Chris Pettit and SS Andrew Romine and SS Hainley Statia to minor league camp Wednesday. Also, they optioned OF Terry Evans, RHP Anthony Ortega and 3B Freddy Sandoval to Triple-A Salt Lake.

(2/26/2009) Angels SS Hainley Statia, who started and hit leadoff in Wednesday's exhibition game against the White Sox, went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI.
