David Carpenter, Mitch Stetter fighting for Angels' bullpen

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(3/26/2013) David Carpenter and Mitch Stetter are fighting for the final spot in the Angels' bullpen.

The team could also send Garrett Richards to Triple-A to act as an emergency starter, but he has a 1.88 ERA in 14 1/3 innings this spring.

Carpenter has been bothered by a back injury during the spring, which pushed his debut back to March 17.

Stetter was a non-roster invite to camp, and has been strong against lefties over his career.
