Abreu went 0 for 2 with a strikeout. Manager Bruce Bochy told MLB.com that there is no timetable for his return.
"We want him to continue to get better, with no more setbacks," Bochy said.

Abreu, who is on the 15-day disabled list, is working his way back from a quadriceps injury. He was claimed off waivers from the Royals in early February and missed much of spring training due to injuries. He hit .257/.284/.357 with one home run and 15 RBI in 70 at-bats last season with Kansas City.
