Alex Gordon pushed his hitting streak to nine games with a three-hit performance Tuesday against the Astros. Gordon is batting .514 (18 for 35) with two RBI, four doubles, five walks and six runs during the streak.
Gordon has 10 multi-hit games in May, which has helped result in a .400 average (30 for 75) in 18 games. He also has a .432 on-base percentage, .587 slugging percentage, 1.019 OPS, three home runs, five doubles, 12 runs and 12 RBI this month.

Heyward doubled as well. He's now 5 for 19 with two doubles since returning from the disabled list. Although he hasn't homered since his return, a .263 average and .391 on-base percentage are a far sight better than the respective .121 and .261 marks he carried into his DL stint.

Dirks is batting .302 (19 for 63) with a .556 slugging percentage, one triple, two doubles, two stolen bases, four walks, 10 RBI and 11 runs in his last 16 games. His average has gone from .200 to .252 in that span.

Cabrera is batting .464 (13 for 28) with a 1.107 slugging percentage, three doubles, five home runs and nine RBI during his hitting streak. For the month of May, Cabrera is batting .413 with a .813 slugging percentage, 1.296 OPS, six doubles, eight home runs and 21 RBI in 18 games.
