Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal blasted his 12th home run of the season in the 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Grandal smoked a two-run shot in the second inning to give his club an early 2-0 advantage. 

He later added a two-run double in the 10th inning to pad the Dodgers' lead to 6-3. He has now homered in two straight games, and has four over his last eight contests. 

"Yaz has had some big offensive games for us," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said, per MLB.com. "I still think there's more in there, to be honest."

Ethier's biggest hit came in the fourth inning when he hit a solo home run off Allen Webster for his only RBI in the game. He also scored two runs and struck out once.

Frias allowed three runs on seven hits over 5 2/3 innings of work. He also struck out one and walked three during the outing. His biggest mistake was giving up a two-run home run to Nick Ahmed in the fourth inning. The Dodgers won the game 6-4 in extra innings.

Dodgers pitcher Mike Bolsinger left Monday night's game against the Diamondbacks with flu-like symptoms, according to MLB.com. 

Bolsinger went four innings, allowed three hits and struck out four batters. Before feeling ill, Bolsinger hadn't allowed a hit. He received a no-decision during the 10-6 loss and he now has an ERA of 2.76 for the season. 

"It was tough, I feel bad, taxing the bullpen like that the first day of the series," Bolsinger said, per MLB.com. "You never want to do that. The bullpen has been so good all year. Not only tonight, but I feel like in past outings I've taxed the bullpen. I've got to figure out a way to go deeper into games. I know I can do it."
