Wrist - 15-day DL. Out until at least early July (Updated - 7/2/15)
News
Giants right fielder Hunter Pence is not close to returning from a wrist injury that has had him on the disabled list since June 12 (though he hasn't actually played since June 2). Manager Bruce Bochy confirmed that Pence will be out until after the All-Star break, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Pence will likely need to make a minor-league rehab appearance before being able to return.

Expected to be a big part of the reigning World Series team, Pence has been limited to just 18 games this year due to injuries.

News
Giants center fielder Angel Pagan was held out of the starting lineup Thursday against the Marlins for the second time in six games. Although, this time appears to be just a rest day for Pagan after he sat out Friday due to a bruised left knee.

Since June 1, Pagan is batting .192 in his last 25 games. His batting average has dropped from .305 to .266 in that span.

Pagan has still yet to hit a home run in 74 games this season. It has been a 143 games since Pagan last hit a home run May 2, 2014. It is the longest home run drought of his career, according to Baseball-Reference.com.

News
Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Thursday he is going to stay away from closer Santiago Casilla for a few days due to general fatigue.

Bochy said Casilla looked a little tired after the right-hander suffered his fourth blown save during a 6-5 loss to the Marlins on Wednesday. Casilla could not protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning, as he recorded no outs and allowed a three-run, walk-off homer to Justin Bour. Casilla allowed three hits in the inning.

Prior to Wednesday's meltdown, Casilla had thrown nine straight scoreless outings. He allowed two hits and two walks, while striking out eight in 7 1/3 innings during that span.

Bochy said if a save situation arises in the next few days, then he will play the matchups using relievers Sergio Romo and Javier Lopez.
