Marc Gasol leads Grizzlies comeback

(12:03 am ET) Marc Gasol scored nine points in the fourth quarter as the Grizzlies erased a four-point Lakers lead to win 97-90 on Friday. 

Gasol scored 18 points and added six rebounds. He hit five-of-11 from the field, but during his fourth-quarter rally, he did most of his damage from the line, shooting seven-of-eight on free throws. 

The Grizzlies next play at the Pelicans on Saturday. 


Zach Randolph gets double-double to lead Grizzlies

(3/6/2015) Zach Randolph had 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Grizzlies to a 97-90 win over the Lakers on Friday. 

Randolph hit 10 of 16 shots and led the Grizzlies in points and boards, while adding three assists.

Randolph had 16 of his points in the second half, as the Grizzlies came from behind to earn the win. 

The Grizzlies next play at the Pelicans on Saturday.


Luke Babbitt comes off bench to spark Pelicans

(3/6/2015) Luke Babbitt came off the bench for the Pelicans on Friday and topped his production for the last three games, combined. 

Babbitt, who scored a total of eight points and grabbed four rebounds in the first three games of March broke out with 12 points and seven rebounds in a 104-98 loss to the Celtics on Friday. 

Babbitt had eight points and six rebounds in the fourth quarter. For the game, he hit five of his six shots. 

The Pelicans next host the Grizzlies on Saturday. 


Anthony Davis puts up 29 and 14 for Pelicans

(3/6/2015) Anthony Davis had a double-double, but it wasn't enough. In spite of Davis' heroics, the Pelicans fell 104-98 to the Celtics on Friday. 

Davis scored a game-high 29 points, on 11-of-21 shooting. He also hit seven of eight from the free-throw line. Davis added 14 rebounds and blocked three shots. 

The Pelicans next host the Grizzlies on Saturday. 


Jae Crowder does a little of everything in Celtics' win

(3/6/2015) Jae Crowder just missed a double-double as he helped spark the Celtics to a 104-98 win over the Pelicans on Friday. 

Crowder had 11 points on five-of-nine shooting. He added nine rebounds and matched a career high with four steals. 

The Celtics next play at the Magic on Sunday. 


Isaiah Thomas leads Celtics with huge fourth quarter

(3/6/2015) Isaiah Thomas scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Celtics past the Pelicans, 104-98 on Friday. 

Thomas came off the bench to score a team-high 27 points on eight-of-13 shooting. He hit four of his six 3-point shots, and opened his fourth-quarter explosion by knocking down three in a row.

"I like fourth quarters, I guess," Thomas said.  

The Celtics next play at the Magic on Sunday. 


Kyrie Irving scores game-high 20 in Cavaliers' loss

(3/6/2015) Kyrie Irving scored a game-high 20 points, but it wasn't enough, as the Cavaliers lost to the Hawks, 106-97 on Friday. 

Irving shot seven-of-16 from the field but missed all five of his 3-pointers. He had four assists, but he also had five turnovers. 

The Cavaliers next play against the Suns on Saturday. 


LeBron James scores 18, but has nine turnovers for Cavaliers

(3/6/2015) LeBron James scored 18 and added eight assists, but he struggled with nine turnovers in the Cavaliers' 106-97 loss to the Hawks on Friday. 

James shot five-of-13 from the field and seven-of-eight from the line. He had six rebounds and eight assists. He had three turnovers in the final five minutes of the game.

James said that five of his turnovers were due to carelessness. "But I sucked," he added.

The Cavs next host the Suns on Saturday. 


Nets' Brook Lopez doubles up on Friday

(3/6/2015) Nets center Brook Lopez posted a double-double on Friday against the Suns.

Lopez shot 6-16 from the field. He sunk seven of his eight free throws, finishing with 19 points. Lopez was active on the boards, pulling down 13 rebounds. He also added a block, an assist and a steal during the contest. 


Al Horford leads Hawks in points, rebounds

(3/6/2015) Al Horford led the Hawks in points and rebounds in Friday's 106-97 win over the Cavaliers on Friday. 

Horford scored 19 points on seven-of-12 shooting. He added nine rebounds and six assists. 

Horford scored nine with four boards and four assists in the first quarter, as the Hawks jumped out to a 17-point lead. 

The Hawks next play at the 76ers on Saturday.
