Raptors' DeMar DeRozan getting more comfortable after injury

(1/27/2015) Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan is starting to turn the corner. After missing nearly a month and a half with a groin injury, DeRozan has scored over 20 points in five of his eight games, including Tuesday against the Pacers.

DeRozan went for 24 points on 7 of 15 shooting, including 10 of 13 from the free throw line, in Toronto's 104-91 win.

"I'm getting more comfortable every single day," DeRozan said. "Just getting back to used to playing the game I'm accustomed to playing."


Grizzlies' Zach Randolph posts 10th straight double-double in win

(1/27/2015) Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph scored 22 points on 10 of 15 shooting in Memphis' 109-90 win over the Mavericks Tuesday. 

Randolph also grabbed 10 rebounds to give him his 10th straight game with a double-double and 26th of the season. His 10th straight double-double ties a league-lead for most consecutive games with a double-double this season.


Cavaliers forward LeBron James says his wrist is fine

(1/27/2015) After taking a hard fall on his right wrist during Tuesday's win over the Pistons, Cavaliers forward LeBron James admitted he was a little scared, reports The Plain Dealer.

"I was scared, because I broke my wrist on a fall like that in high school," James said. "I was either going to land on my face or break the fall with my hands, but when I hit, both my arms went numb. I'm OK now - it was just something like a stinger - but I wasn't sure at first."

James finished the game with 32 points on 11 of 24 shooting. He also added six rebounds and seven assists.


Warriors center Andrew Bogut a late scratch, out with flu-like symptoms

(1/27/2015) Warriors center Andrew Bogut was all set to start Tuesday's game against the Bulls. However, just before tipoff, Bogut headed to the locker room and Marresse Speights took over the starting duties.

The team later announced Bogut is dealing with flu-like symptoms and is out for the game.


Heat will evaluate Dwyane Wade's hamstring injury Wednesday

(1/27/2015) Heat guard Dwyane Wade strained his right hamstring during Tuesday's loss to the Bucks and could not finish the game.

After the game, coach Erik Spoelstra said he had no update on the injury, but they’ll know more Wednesday, reports Fox Sports Florida. Wade has missed nine games this season due to various hamstring injuries.


Wizards guard John Wall in starting lineup Tuesday

Wall, who is averaging 17.2 points and 10.2 assists per game, was considered questionable for the game while dealing with a sore Achilles' tendon. 


Heat's Hassan Whiteside grabs 16 rebounds in loss to Bucks

(1/27/2015) Heat center Hassan Whiteside recorded another double-double during Tuesday's game against the Bucks, but it was not enough as the Heat lost 109-102.

With Chris Andersen out, Whiteside received the start and scored 16 points on 6 of 12 shooting. He also grabbed 16 rebounds, which tied his season high. However, he did not record a block for the first time in 12 games.


Cavs' Irving scores 38 to help defeat Pistons on Tuesday

(1/27/2015) Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving scored 38 points on 13 of 22 shooting to lead the Cavaliers to a 103-95 victory over the Pistons on Tuesday.

Irving was also 6 of 10 from the 3-point line and 6 of 6 from the free-throw line. He also added three steals, three rebounds and six assists. It was the seventh time this season Irving has scored 30 or more points in a game and the 38 points tied a season high.


Heat guard Dwyane Wade injures hamstring Tuesday

(1/27/2015) Heat guard Dwyane Wade was forced to leave Tuesday's game against the Bucks with a hamstring injury and will not return, the team announced.

Wade injured the hamstring in the third quarter. He played 19 minutes and scored 12 points. It is the third time Wade has injured his hamstring this season. The first time he missed seven games and he recently missed two games after the second occurrence.


Cavaliers' LeBron James falls hard on hand during Tuesday's game

(1/27/2015) Cavaliers forward LeBron James had a scary moment in Tuesday's game against the Pistons. James went up to block a shot, but fell hard and landed awkwardly on his hand.

He was checked out by team doctors on the sidelines, but was able to return to the game for the start of the fourth quarter. James was holding his hand to his body and grabbing at it a lot.
