Report: Blazers' LaMarcus Aldridge not expected to play Sunday

(4:18 pm ET) Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Knicks, reports The Oregonian.

Aldridge is dealing with an upper respiratory illness and was not at Saturday’s practice. The illness also kept Aldridge out of Friday’s victory over the 76ers. Forward Thomas Robinson started in Aldridge’s place and scored seven points.


Report: Kings list DeMarcus Cousins as probable vs. Knicks

(4:11 pm ET) The Kings listed center DeMarcus Cousins as probable for Saturday’s game against the Knicks, reports The Sacramento Bee.

Cousins missed Friday’s loss to the Suns while dealing with gastroenteritis. Forward Reggie Evans started in Cousins’ place and scored 11 points while also grabbing 16 rebounds.

The Kings also listed Ramon Sessions as doubtful with a back injury, while Ryan Hollins (personal) is out.

The Kings are 5-point favorites.


Report: Rockets list Howard, Harden, Ariza as probable Sunday

(3:37 pm ET) The Rockets listed center Dwight Howard (knee), guard James Harden (hamstring) and forward Trevor Ariza (knee contusion) as probable for Sunday’s game at San Antonio, reports the Houston Chronicle.

Meanwhile, guard Alexey Shved was ruled out with a left ankle sprain.


Report: Mavericks assign Ricky Ledo, Dwight Powell to NBADL

Ledo and Powell are expected to play Saturday for the Texas Legends.


Report: Heat interested in signing C Andray Blatche

(3:04 pm ET) The Heat have expressed interest in signing center Andray Blatche, according to Marc Stein of ESPN. Blatche is playing in China and is not expected to become available until his season ends in February or March. Blatche spent seven seasons in the NBA, posting career averages 10.1 points and 5.4 rebounds over that span.

Pacers rule out Damjan Rudez for Saturday

(2:44 pm ET) The Pacers have ruled out forward Damjan Rudez for Saturday's contest against the Nets because of an upper respiratory infection, per the team's official website. Rudez will now have missed three consecutive games due to the issue. He is averaging only 4.0 per contest this season.

The Pacers are 2 1/2-point underdogs at Brooklyn.


Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire in danger of missing remainder of road trip

(2:15 pm ET) Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire told reporters he may undergo some tests when the team returns from a road trip, if his injured right knee doesn't respond well to treatment, according to the New York Daily News.

Stoudemire dealt with knee inflammation during his flight to Sacramento and was ruled out for the first game of a back-to-back set on Saturday against the Kings. He is also in danger of sitting out Sunday's game at Portland.

The Knicks aren't back in New York until Jan. 2 against Detroit.


Clippers rule Spencer Hawes out vs. Toronto

(2:08 pm ET) Clippers center Spencer Hawes was ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Raptors, reports the the Orange County Register. Hawes has been sidelined since Dec. 12 with the injury. He's averaging 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds through his first 22 games played.

Los Angeles is a 5-point home favorite over Toronto.

Pacers list PG Rodney Stuckey as probable for Saturday

(1:48 pm ET) Pacers point guard Rodney Stuckey was formally listed as probable for Saturday's contest at Brooklyn, per the Indianapolis Star.

Stuckey exited Friday's game against the Pistons after absorbing a shot to the face from Andre Drummond. He was diagnosed with facial contusion along with a swollen eye following the game. Stuckey is averaging 12.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists through 23 games this season.

Indiana is currently a 2 1/2-point underdog at Brooklyn.


Pacers G C.J. Miles ruled doubtful for Brooklyn game

(1:43 pm ET) Pacers guard C.J. Miles had some difficulty breathing near the end of Friday's loss to the Pistons, and was ruled doubtful for Saturday's contest at Brooklyn with an upper respiratory infection, per the Indianapolis Star.

Miles is averaging 10.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists through his first 22 games with the Pacers. Indiana is currently a 2 1/2-point underdog at Brooklyn.
