Wizards Martell Webster leaves with knee injury, does not return
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(1:49 am ET) Wizards forward Martell Webster collided with Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin in Tuesday's game and was down on the floor, holding his knee.

Webster limped off the court to the locker room and did not return. He scored five points on 1 of 3 shooting in just six minutes of action.

Warriors' Klay Thompson continues hot shooting streak
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(1:35 am ET) Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson scored 30 points on 13 of 27 shooting from the field in Golden State's 113-111 overtime loss to the Bulls Tuesday. Thompson opened up hot from the field, scoring 15 first quarter points.

Over his last five games, Thompson is averaging a whopping 32.4 points and shooting 54 percent from the field.

Derrick Rose posts unusual double-double in overtime win
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(1:29 am ET) Bulls point guard Derrick Rose was very uneven in Tuesday's overtime win over the Warriors. Rose scored 30 points on 13 of 33 shooting from the field, including 4 of 12 from 3-point range, and turned the ball over 11 times.

While Rose dished out just one assist, it was his first double digit turnover game this season. He also grabbed seven rebounds on the night.

Bulls' Pau Gasol stuffs the stat sheet in overtime win Tuesday
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(1:26 am ET) Bulls forward Pau Gasol scored 18 points on 7 of 12 shooting from the field and grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds in Chicago's 113-111 win over the Warriors Tuesday. It was Gasol's seventh straight double-double and league-leading 28th of the season.

Gasol also helped out his other teammates, dishing out eight assists and blocking four shots for the second straight game.

Lakers' Wayne Ellington scores 28 points in losing effort
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(1:06 am ET) Lakers guard Wayne Ellington scored a career-high 28 points on 12 of 20 shooting from the field, including 3 of 9 from 3-point range, in Los Angeles' 98-92 loss to the Wizards Tuesday.

Ellington added three rebounds, three assists and three steals to his totals. Over his last four games, Ellington is averaging 16.0 points and 4.5 rebounds.

Wizards' John Wall narrowly misses triple-double in win Tuesday
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(12:59 am ET) Wizards point guard John Wall scored a team-high 21 points on 8 of 12 shooting from the field in Washington's 98-92 win over the Lakers Tuesday.

Despite being hobbled by a sore Achilles in pregame, Wall did it all for Washington, dishing out 13 assists and grabbing nine rebounds, just one shy of a triple-double. It was Wall's 25th double-double of the season and fourth in his last five games.

"I'm alright. I'm not great," Wall said. "I had a migraine, sprained ankle again. But I'm just a competitive person."

Thunder's Anthony Morrow hoping to snap cold shooting streak
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(12:35 am ET) Thunder shooting guard Anthony Morrow is struggling through one of the toughest poor shooting streaks of his seven-year career.

In his career, Morrow is a 44.9 percent shooter from the field and 42.1 percent from 3-point range. However, this season, Morrow is shooting 42.4 percent and a career-low 36.3 percent from long range.

"Every shooter in this league, not just our shooters, in the history of the game, is going to have stretches where they don’t shoot the ball well," Scott Brooks said. "It’s such a great game and a hard game to master. You never do as a shooter. But he’s gonna have a 60 percent February. That’s the way I look at it."

In the month of January, Morrow is shooting the lowest percentage of his career, 26.

"I don’t look it as a slump," Morrow said. "I don’t really call it that. It’s more of a course of the season thing, a marathon. You can make 10 3s one game and miss your next 20, miss 20 and make your next five or six."

Martin signed a second 10-day contract with Milwaukee, which was set to expire this week. In eight games for the Bucks, Martin is averaging 1.1 points and 0.9 rebounds.

Raptors' DeMar DeRozan getting more comfortable after injury
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(1/27/2015) Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan is starting to turn the corner. After missing nearly a month and a half with a groin injury, DeRozan has scored over 20 points in five of his eight games, including Tuesday against the Pacers.

DeRozan went for 24 points on 7 of 15 shooting, including 10 of 13 from the free throw line, in Toronto's 104-91 win.

"I'm getting more comfortable every single day," DeRozan said. "Just getting back to used to playing the game I'm accustomed to playing."
