Faried shot 11-15 from the field. He sunk four free throws, finishing with a game-high 26 points. He was exceptional on the boards, pulling down 25 rebounds. He also picked up three assists. 


Timberwolves' Thaddeus Young scores 23 points on Friday

(12/26/2014) Timberwolves forward Thaddeus Young scored 23 points on Friday against the Nuggets.

Young shot 10-21 from the field. While he missed his only attempt from beyond the arc, he was able to sink three free throws. Young also added six rebounds, four assists and two steals.


Lakers PF Carlos Boozer scores team-high 18 vs. Mavericks

(12/26/2014) Lakers power forward Carlos Boozer scored a team-high 18 points on 9 of 16 shooting in his team's 102-98 loss to the Mavericks Friday.

The Lakers were able to stick around against a quality Dallas team Friday despite not having Kobe Bryant in the lineup. The team pulled contributions from all 10 players who appeared in the game, as everyone played at least 14 minutes and no one saw 30 minutes of action. Boozer led his team in scoring while seeing 21 minutes off the bench, adding eight rebounds and one steal in the loss. He'll square off with the Suns Sunday.


Lakers C Jordan Hill doubles up vs. Mavericks Friday

(12/26/2014) Lakers center Jordan Hill scored 12 points on 6 of 13 shooting while racking up 10 rebounds in his team's 102-98 loss to the Mavericks Friday.

Hill's double-double Friday was just his third in December after putting up nine in November, but on a negative note, he turned the ball over five times in the close contest. Hill also managed one assist and one block in 27 minutes as the Lakers lost for the fifth time in their last six games. The Lakers will square off with the Suns Sunday.


Mavericks PG Rajon Rando scores season-high 21 vs. Lakers

(12/26/2014) Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo scored a season-high 21 points on 10 of 17 shooting in his team's 102-98 win over the Lakers Friday.

Rondo delivered his best point total of the season in his fourth game with his new team while also turning in his third consecutive double-digit scoring performance for the first time this season. He also racked up eight rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 35 minutes in the win. Rondo and the Mavericks will face off with the Thunder Sunday.


Mavericks C Tyson Chandler doubles up vs. Lakers

(12/26/2014) Mavericks center Tyson Chandler scored 15 points on 5 of 7 shooting from the field and 5 of 7 shooting from the free-throw line while racking up 12 rebounds in his team's 102-98 win over the Lakers Friday.

Chandler has posted double-digit rebounding performance in six of his last seven games but managed just three double-doubles during that stretch. He also chipped in one assist and one block in 31 minutes Friday. He'll square off against the Thunder Sunday.


Grizzlies' Marc Gasol drops 29 on the Rockets

Gasol shot 12-21 from the field, including one from beyond the arc. He sunk four of his free throws. Gasol also had eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks. 


Rockets' James Harden drops 32 points on Friday

Harden shot 10-17 from the field, including two from beyond the arc. He also sunk 10 free throws. Harden also dished out 10 assists and had eight rebounds. He added three blocks. 


Mavericks PF Dirk Nowitzki moves to eighth on all-time scoring list

(12/26/2014) Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki passed Elvin Hayes for eighth on the all-time scoring list Friday, racking up 14 points on 5 of 13 shooting in his team's 102-98 win over the Lakers.

Nowitzki entered the game just five points behind Hayes and ended the win with 27,322 career points. He has just 87 points left to match Moses Malone for seventh on the all-time points list. Nowitzki also racked up eight rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes of action against the Lakers. He'll take on the Thunder Sunday.


Pelicans forward Anthony Davis posts a double-double on Friday

(12/26/2014) Pelicans forward Anthony Davis posted a double-double on Friday against the Spurs.

Davis shot 8-19 from the field. He sunk all six of his free throws, finishing with 22 points. Davis was involved on the glass, coming up with 12 rebounds. He also added three assists, two steals and five blocks.
