Lin scored 14 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists in Game 1 Sunday. The Rockets could be especially thin at point guard if Patrick Beverley misses the game due to his knee injury, but the latest indication is that he'll be able to go.

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(4/21/2014) Bulls center Joakim Noah was named 2013-14 Defensive Player of the Year by the NBA on Monday. He collected 100 out of a possible 125 first-place votes for his first career DPOY award.

Noah was sixth in the league in defensive rebounds with 618, eighth in defensive boards per game with 7.7 and ninth in blocks with 121. The 29-year-old notched a career-high 99 steals and cracked 100 blocks in a season for the fourth time in his career. Chris Paul expected to play through hamstring issue Monday
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(4/21/2014) Clippers guard Chris Paul strained his hamstring in a Game 1 loss to the Warriors in the opening round of the playoffs on Saturday. He's been receiving treatment and is expected to play Game 2 Monday night against Golden State, according to the team's official website.

Patrick Beverley likely OK to play Game 2
by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com
(4/21/2014) The Rockets got a scare following their Game 1 loss to Portland, as the team scheduled guard Patrick Beverley to undergo an MRI on his sprained knee Monday. Luckily, Fox 26 reports that no serious damage was found, allowing doctors to clear him for action.

Beverley previously tore his meniscus in the same knee, forcing him to miss eight games toward the end of the season. He only averaged 10.2 points and 2.7 assists per game during the regular season, but Houston would miss his impact on the defensive end more than his offense. He is considered probable for Game 2 on Wednesday.
