by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(5:07 pm ET) Lakers forward Wesley Johnson missed another practice on Saturday with a stomach issue, but is expected to play Sunday against the Kings, according to the team's official website. Johnson has appeared in all 26 games this season for Los Angeles, averaging 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists while shooting 42.5 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from downtown over that span.

by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(4:55 pm ET) Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony returned from a one-game absence and scored a team-high 25 points, but it was not enough as the Knicks fell to the Suns 99-90 Saturday.

Anthony missed Thursday’s game against the Bulls while dealing with knee soreness. He shot 9 of 19 from the floor, but was 1 of 4 from the 3-point line. He also added 11 rebounds to record his second double-double of the season. Anthony also recorded three steals, three assists and one block.

The Knicks next play Sunday at Toronto.

by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(4:47 pm ET) Suns guard Eric Bledsoe scored a team-high 25 points to help lead the Suns to a 99-90 victory over the Knicks Saturday.

Bledsoe shot 8 of 15 from the floor which was the first time Bledshore shot more than 50 percent in a game since Dec. 12. He also shot 8 of 9 from the free-throw line. Bledsoe added 10 rebounds and three assists. It was Bledsoe’s fourth double-double of the season.

The Suns next play Sunday at Washington.

Nets coach Hollins: It's doubtful Deron Williams will play Sunday
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(4:45 pm ET) Nets coach Lionel Hollins told reporters point guard Deron Williams will "most likely" not play Sunday against Detroit, according to ESPN. Williams exited Friday's 95-91 loss to Cleveland with a low-grade right calf strain.

"He's not playing tomorrow, most likely," Hollins said "It's doubtful that he is going to play. I would say he's not but he may wake up in the morning and feel 100 percent. But I doubt it."

Williams is averaging 15.6 points and 6.8 assists this season. If he's unable to play, the team will likely turn to Jarrett Jack for the start. Brooklyn (10-15) is a 6-point home favorite against the Pistons (5-22).

Nets C Brook Lopez in danger of losing starting job?
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(4:40 pm ET) Nets center Brook Lopez has resumed light basketball activities and will be evaluated on a daily basis until he's ready to return, ESPN reports. Lopez is working his way back from a lower back strain that has caused him to miss seven games. Coach Lionel Hollins would not reveal if he'll keep Mason Plumlee in the starting lineup once Lopez is ready to return.

"I am not going to squeal until I get stuck and I will cross the bridge when I get there," Hollins said. "I have my thoughts on it but I don't want to share them. I have been thinking about it but it is not something that needs to be talked about at this point."

Thunder not ruling out Kevin Durant for Sunday
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(4:32 pm ET) Updating a previous item: Oklahoma City has not yet ruled out forward Kevin Durant for Sunday's game against New Orleans, still leaving the door open for a possible return, according to the Oklahoman on Saturday.

The Thunder forward missed Friday's contest against the Lakers with an ankle injury. He is averaging 22.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.6 assist through his first nine games back from a foot injury. If he is unable to play, the team will likely turn to Perry Jones for the start.

Oklahoma City is a 6-point favorite at home on Sunday.

Raptors G Landry Fields passes series of concussion testing
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3:59 pm ET) Raptors shooting guard Landry Fields cleared another hurdle, as he passed a series of concussion testing and was able to participate in practice on Saturday, per the team's official website. Fields received eight stitches to the back of the head Friday night against Detroit. His status remains uncertain for Sunday's game against the Knicks.

Heat F Chris Bosh ruled out for Boston game
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3:56 pm ET) Heat power forward Chris Bosh has been ruled out for Sunday's game at home against the Celtics because of a nagging strained calf injury, according to the Miami Herald. Bosh has missed previous four games due to the issue and remains without a timetable for return.

Worried about the muscle tearing away from the bone, Miami is taking a cautious approach with their star forward, who signed a five-year extension in the offseason. At this point, the likelihood of Bosh playing Tuesday and on Christmas Day remains uncertain. The Heat will likely continue to roll with Justin Hamilton or Udonis Haslem while Bosh is sidelined.

Through 23 games, Bosh has averaged 21.6 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting 77.9 percent from the floor and 38.6 percent from downtown.

Backup forward Jon Leuer is expected to see an increase in playing time if Randolph is held out. In 24 games, Leuer is averaging 5.9 points and 3.7 rebounds.
