NBA suspends J.R. Smith two games, Kelly Olynyk one game
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(7:15 pm ET) The NBA has suspended Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith two games and Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk for their actions in Sunday's Game 4 in Boston, according to ESPN.

Smith punch forward Jae Crowder in the head while jumping up for a rebound and was immediately ejected. Crowder landed awkwardly on his leg and was later diagnosed with an ACL sprain. He will miss the first two games of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Smith is averaging 9.8 points per game this postseason.

Olynyk grabbed forward Kevin Love's arm while fighting for a loose ball, dislocating his shoulder. He will serve his suspension to begin the 2015-2016 season.

Cavs F Kevin Love (shoulder) out for conference semifinals
by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(6:12 pm ET) The Cavaliers announced that they will be without forward Kevin Love for the conference semifinals, according to FOX Sports.

Love dislocated his shoulder early in Game 4 against the Celtics. He was tangled up with Kelly Olynyk on a play that could now impact the next round. The Cavaliers will play the winner of the Bulls and Bucks series, with Chicago leading 3-1 at the moment.

"Evaluation and imaging have defined the extent of the injury: an acute anterior inferior glenohumeral dislocation with the corresponding ligament/labrum tearing and humeral head bone bruising," the Cavaliers said in a statement. "Currently, Love is undergoing training room treatments while additional opinions are being obtained and treatment options being explored. Love will be unavailable for Cavaliers' upcoming Conference Semifinal playoff series and an update regarding his status beyond that will be determined over the next several days."

It was previously reported that Love could miss up to two weeks at minimum with the injury. While Love is out for the conference semis, there's still a chance he could be back for the conference finals if Cleveland advances. However, nothing is certain at this time.

After the game against Boston, Love voiced his displeasure at Olynyk's play.

"I have no doubt in my mind that he did it on purpose," Love said.

Rockets G Patrick Beverley able to shoot at practice
by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(5:41 pm ET) Rockets guard Patrick Beverley was able to get up some shots at practice on Monday, according to the Houston Chronicle

Beverley is coming off of wrist surgery that could take up to four months to recover from. He was wearing a cast while shooting. There's a small chance Beverley could come back this postseason, but that could probably only happen if the Rockets reached the NBA finals.

Clippers F Matt Barnes will play Tuesday against Spurs
by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(5:36 pm ET) Clippers forward Matt Barnes will be available for Tuesday's Game 5 matchup against the Spurs, according to the Los Angeles Daily News

Barnes has a sore right shoulder and was spotted with an ice pack on it after practice. He was already considered probable heading in. Barnes only scored four points in 23 points in Game 4.

Nets' Deron Williams (tailbone) in starting lineup Monday
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(5:33 pm ET) Nets point guard Deron Williams is in the starting lineup for Monday's Game 4 matchup with the Hawks, NorthJersey.com reports.

Williams suffered a bruised tailbone in his team's Game 3 win and watched from the bench as point guard Jarrett Jack helped key an 18-0 run as the Nets took their first home game in the series. They'll look to even things up Monday in Brooklyn.

Williams has averaged 6.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists in the first three games of the series. The Nets are 5-point home underdogs in Game 4.

Clippers forward Blake Griffin to play through shoulder stinger
by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(5:00 pm ET) Clippers forward Blake Griffin is reportedly dealing with a shoulder stinger he picked up in Game 4 Sunday, but will play through it in Game 5, according to the L.A. Daily News.

Griffin has been outstanding for Los Angeles in their series against the Spurs, averaging 22.2 points and 13.2 rebounds per game. He scored 20 points and pulled down 19 rebounds in Sunday's game, playing 43 minutes.

Warriors recall Ognjen Kuzmic, James McAdoo
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(2:45 pm ET) The Warriors have recalled center Ognjen Kuzmic and forward James McAdoo from Santa Cruz of the NBA Development League, the team announced Monday.

The two players combined to score 31 points in Game 2 of the NBA D-League Finals Sunday, capturing a sweep in the best-of-three series to lead the Santa Cruz team to its first title. Both should be available for Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Report: Kevin Love getting second opinion on shoulder
by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer
(2:23 pm ET) The status of Cavaliers forward Kevin Love's injured shoulder may be delayed as the player seeks a second opinion on the severity of the injury, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Love, who dislocated his shoulder as he was tangled up with the Celtics' Kelly Olynyk in Sunday's game 4 victory, will be a free agent after the season and ensuring the shoulder will remain structurally sound is a critical bit of information for prospective suitors.

Love was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday and initial reports suggested he may miss two weeks of action.

Raptors' Casey: Kyle Lowry needs to reduce weight this summer
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(2:21 pm ET) Raptors coach Dwane Casey said Monday that guard Kyle Lowry has to get his weight back down this summer, TSN reports.

Casey added that Lowry came into camp in great shape but that the guard had trouble after returning from his injuries. Lowry delivered his second straight quality scoring season this year, finishing with an average of 17.8 points, 6.8 assists and 4.7 rebounds.

Report: Celtics looking to deal first-round pick to dump Wallace
by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer
(1:51 pm ET) The Celtics have stockpiled draft picks over the years, and they are hoping to use one of their first-round picks to sweeten a deal that would allow them to get veteran Gerald Wallace off their roster, per ProBasketballTalk.com.

Wallace is owed $10.1 million next season and the 33-year-old wasn't much more than a deep bench option this season for the Celtics. Boston, meanwhile, has up to 10 first-round picks in the next four drafts, making it worth the cost of taking on Wallace's salary.
