Pelicans G Eric Gordon will make surgery decision in two weeks

(5:28 pm ET) Pelicans guard Eric Gordon told reporters Tuesday he'll make a decision in approximately two weeks on whether he'll need surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. The Pelicans have ruled him out indefinitely moving forward after an MRI on Monday revealed the tear.

"We'll see," Gordon said. "It's a full tear. I still have a labrum. But it's tough for any athlete to deal with that.

"If I keep on playing, it's going to be a lingering issue. This thing doesn't heal all the way correctly, I've heard, unless surgery happens. I don't know, it's (surgery option) still hard to determine right now."


Magic G Evan Fournier questionable for Warriors game

(5:14 pm ET) The Magic have listed shooting guard Evan Fournier as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors with a right quad contusion, reports the Orlando Sentinel. Fournier is averaging 16.5 points, 2.5 assists and 2.4 rebounds through 15 games this season. The team will likely make a decision on his playing status either on morning shootaround or during pregame warmups.

Pacers coach Vogel: 'I'm hopeful' David West can return Friday

(5:08 pm ET) Pacers coach Frank Vogel told reporters he's hoping to have power forward David West back in the lineup Friday against the Magic, reports the Indianapolis Star. West has yet to play this season because of a sprained ankle.

"I'm hopeful, we’ll see how he responded to this work but we’re hopeful for Friday," Vogel said.


Lakers' Scott optimistic Davis and Boozer will play Wednesday

(4:49 pm ET) Lakers coach Byron Scott sounded optimistic that both forwards Carlos Boozer and Ed Davis would be able to play Wednesday agains the Grizzlies, according to the L.A. Times

Boozer, who is considered questionable with a shoulder injury, is averaging 12.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Davis is considered probable with an ankle injury. 


Pistons' Brandon Jennings 'can't shoot' with sprained left thumb

(4:12 pm ET) Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings told reporters Tuesday that he "can't shoot" with his sprained left thumb, according to the Detroit News. His status for for Tuesday against the Bucks has yet to be announced. 

Jennings, who is averaging 16.0 points and 5.8 assists per game, suffered the injury Friday against the Hawks. 


Pacers' Hibbert doubtful for Wednesday against the Spurs

(3:45 pm ET) Pacers center Roy Hibbert is doubtful for Wednesday against the Spurs with a left ankle sprain. Hibbert hurt his ankle Saturday against the Suns and was unable to return. 

Hibbert is averaging 13.1 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game.


Pelicans C Omer Asik will 'give it a go' Tuesday

(3:45 pm ET) Pelicans center Omer Asik will try to "give it a go" Tuesday night against Sacramento, according to SB Nation. Asik missed his previous four games with a lower back injury. He is averaging 9.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. 

Hornets' Gary Neal doubtful, P.J. Hairston probable for Wednesday

(3:40 pm ET) Hornets have announced that guard Gary Neal is doubtful for Wednesday against the Trail Blazers with a shoulder injury and P.J. Hairston is probable with an ankle injury.

Neal, who is averaging 12.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, left Monday's game against the Clippers and didn't return. Hairston, who is averaging 5.4 points per game, has missed the last four.


Celtics G Marcus Smart likely to practice Wednesday

Lakers F Xavier Henry has season-ending Achilles surgery

(3:10 pm ET) Lakers forward Xavier Henry underwent surgery to repair his torn Achilles on Tuesday, per the team's official website. He's expected to miss the remainder of the season after suffering the injury in practice on Monday. The team expects him to be ready for the start of the 2015-16 season.
