It was Walker's third straight double-digit scoring output since joining the Heat on a 10-day contract. Walker has played in Sioux Falls, Alaska, Venezuela and Austin since his last stint in the NBA, three years ago.

Evans shot nine-of-15 from the field for 19 points. He added 11 assists to help lead the Pelicans despite the absence of All Star forward Anthony Davis, who sat out with a shoulder injury.

Evans fouled out with 1:23 left and watched his teammates break the tie score to escape with a win.

The Pelicans next play at the Nuggets on Sunday.

(12:35 am ET) Kings power forward Jason Thompson scored 12 points on 6 of 10 shooting while hauling in 11 rebounds in his team's 107-96 loss to the Spurs Friday.

Thompson hadn't posted a double-double in more than a month before recording 10 points and 11 rebounds Wednesday, and he put one together just one game later. He attempted at least 10 shots Friday for just the fifth time this season, adding two assists and one block in 33 minutes.

The Kings will square off with the Blazers Sunday.

The Spurs brought a four-game losing streak to an end Friday, and they'll try and put together back-to-back victories Saturday in Phoenix.

James Harden gets third straight double-double for Rockets
by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com
(12:15 am ET) The Rockets weren't sure if James Harden was going to be able to play. He ended up recording a double-double in a 102-98 win over the Nets on Friday.

Harden missed practice with a sore ankle, but he was able to avoid missing his first game of the season.

''The beauty of this team is that we've been good battling adversity all year,'' Harden said.

He ended up scoring 15 points and dishing out 12 assists to record his third straight double-double. That's a career-high for Harden.

Harden hit a free throw with 43 seconds left to put the Rockets on top to stay.

The Rockets next host the Cavaliers on Sunday.

The performance came in Jones' eleventh game back after missing three months with a nerve problem in his leg.
