Gibson left the game early in the fourth quarter. After going back to the locker room and missing a couple minutes, Gibson returned to the floor. He's dealing with an ankle sprain.

(10:14 pm ET) Bulls guard Derrick Rose went to the locker room early Friday against the Cavs.

Rose is dealing with a left ankle sprain. He's considered questionable to return. Rose went back to the locker room at some point during the fourth quarter, the team initially waited to officially announce an injury. Rose drained 20 points before leaving the contest. 


Bulls forward Taj Gibson heads to locker room with ankle issue

(9:59 pm ET) Bulls forward Taj Gibson appeared to roll his ankle Friday against the Cavs.

Gibson hurt himself early in the fourth quarter. After laying on the court briefly, Gibson was able to hobble off. He went to the locker room shortly after leaving the floor. He was ruled questionable to return due to a left ankle sprain. 


Report: Heat's Norris Cole not expected to sign extension

(9:28 pm ET) Heat guard Norris Cole is not expected to sign an extension Friday night, according to the Miami Herald

If Cole doesn't sign, he'll become a restricted free-agent at the end of the season. Cole averaged 6.4 points per game with the team last season. 


Thunder guard Reggie Jackson expected to go Saturday

Jackson has been dealing with a right ankle injury, but has progressed recently. He's expected to make his season-debut Saturday. 


Report: Ricky Rubio signs four-year extension with T-Wolves

(8:46 pm ET) Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio has signed a four-year, $56 million contract extension Friday, according to Yahoo!

Rubio had until midnight to agree on a contract. The 24-year-old averaged 9.5 points per game and 8.6 assists per game last season. Rubio would have become a restricted free-agent at the end of the year if he didn't agree on a deal with Minnesota. 


Bulls' Jimmy Butler officially inactive Friday

Butler was able to get through a morning shootaround, and was considered a game-time decision. He's still dealing with a thumb injury. 


Grizzlies guard Courtney Lee ruled out due to concussion

(8:31 pm ET) Grizzlies guard Courtney Lee has been ruled out of Friday's game due to a concussion.

Lee had a strong first half, hitting four of five shots from the field. He also hit a three pointer and drained all three of his free throw attempts. Lee led the club with 12 points during the first half. 


Bulls G Jimmy Butler not in starting lineup Friday

(7:49 pm ET) Bulls guard Jimmy Butler was not included in the starting lineup for Friday's contest against the Cavaliers at home, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Butler went through morning shootaround and was deemed as a game-time decision heading into the game because of a nagging thumb injury. Unless he comes off the bench, it appears he may not play at all Friday.


Heat list F Josh McRoberts probable for Saturday

(7:03 pm ET) The Heat have listed forward Josh McRoberts as probable for Saturday's game at Philadelphia, according to the Sun Sentinel. McRoberts, who had offseason toe surgery, practiced in full on Friday and appears ready to make his Miami debut. He averaged 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists last season for Charlotte.
