The Warriors have already advanced to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs and are awaiting their next opponent.

Report: Lakers only want Rajon Rondo at discount price
by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(4:03 pm ET) With guard Rajon Rondo struggling to fit in with the Mavericks, the Lakers are reportedly less interested in acquiring Rondo than earlier in the season, sources told Bleacher Report.

Lakers co-owner Jim Buss and general manager Mitch Kupchak have reportedly grown skeptical of Rondo and will only sign him at a low price.

Rondo will become a free agent after the season. He is currently out indefinitely with a back injury.

Spurs center Aron Baynes to play in Game 5 against Clippers
(3:30 pm ET) Spurs center Aron Baynes will play in Game 5 of the Western Conference Quaterfinals against the Clippers on Tuesday, coach Gregg Popovich said, per the San Antonio Express-News. Baynes did not play in Game 4 due to a sprained ankle.

Through three playoff games, Baynes has recorded nine total points and eight total rebounds.

Spurs guard Tony Parker not 100 percent in playoffs
(3:23 pm ET) Spurs guard Tony Parker admitted Tuesday that he is not 100 percent healthy heading into Game 5 against the Clippers, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

Parker, who has played in all four postseason games, is dealing with injuries to his quad, ankle and Achilles. After struggling through the first three games of the series, he came back to record 18 points in Game 4.

He is averaging 8.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in the series.

Pelicans' Monty Williams says re-signing Omer Asik is an issue
by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(2:45 pm ET) Pelicans coach Monty Williams indicated re-signing center Omer Asik is a big priority for the team in the offseason, reports the New Orleans Advocate.

Asik, 28, will become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason. In 76 games this season, he averaged 7.3 points and 9.8 rebounds.

Wizards' Garrett Temple (hamstring) starting to increase workouts
by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(2:22 pm ET) Although Wizards guard Garrett Temple has not been able to practice since March because of a hamstring injury, he will increase his physical activity at Wednesday's practice, the team announced.

Temple has not played since March 9 after sustaining a hamstring injury, but coach Randy Wittman said he is making good progress.

Pelicans' Gordon played most of season with shoulder injury
(2:15 pm ET) Pelicans guard Eric Gordon played through much of the 2014-2015 season with a shoulder injury and could have opted for season-ending surgery, coach Monty Williams told reporters Tuesday, per NOLA.com.

Gordon did miss 21 games this season due to a torn labrum in his left shoulder. He returned on Jan. 5 and did not miss a game the rest of the season, including the team's four playoff games.

He scored a total of 74 points during the Pelicans' Western Conference first-round series loss to the Warriors.

For the season, Gordon scored 13.4 points per game and averaged about 33 minutes played per game.

Mavericks F Chandler Parsons still deciding on knee procedures
by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(1:12 pm ET) Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons said he wants to wait until after the Mavericks season to decide how he will proceed with his injured knee, reports The Dallas Morning News.

"I still haven't decided when," Parsons said. "Hopefully, we keep winning. I want to keep being with the team. There's no way I want to go and do something and miss time and not be with these guys. I've been with them all year long. It's not what I want to do."

Parsons said there are various options that could fix his knee, but they won't know exactly what is needed until doctors can perform the surgery.

"There's a lot of opinions and a lot of different things out there, but really the doctors won't know anything until they open me up," Parsons said. "So I'm not going to say something is going to happen or not happen and then be wrong. I really won't know until they open me up."

Parsons options include an arthroscopic procedure, but a league source reportedly indicated microfracture surgery is also a possibility.

"I'm well aware of every scenario," Parsons said. "Obviously, some take more time and longer to recover than others. But even the doctor won't know until he gets in there."

Pelicans concerned over Jrue Holiday's leg issues
by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(12:58 pm ET) While Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday was able to play in Game 3 and 4 against the Warriors, coach Monty Williams said the team is concerned about his injury history, reports The Times-Picayune.

Holiday missed more than 40 games this season because of a lingering stress reaction in his leg. It was his second-consecutive season missing more than half of the games and Williams said Holiday will work with team trainers during the offseason in the hope of improving his health.

Cavs say Anderson Varejao (Achilles) will not return in playoffs
by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(12:40 pm ET) With Cavaliers forward Kevin Love unlikely to return to the playoffs because of a dislocated shoulder, general manager David Griffin said center Anderson Varejao is not a viable option to return either, reports the Akron Beacon Journal.

Varejao was ruled out for the season after he torn his left Achilles in December.
