Kyle Lowry scores 25 in return to Raptors' lineup

(9:54 pm ET) Kyle Lowry returned to the Raptors' lineup with 25 points in the 103-94 loss to the Hornets, Friday. 

Lowry had missed the last three games with nagging injuries. The rest seemed to serve him well, as he logged 38 minutes, second highest on the team. He shot nine-of-22 for 25 points, adding five rebounds and five assists. 

Lowry also hit five-of-nine on 3-pointers.

The Raptors next play at the Thunder, Sunday. 


Mo Williams scores 23 in Hornets win

(9:46 pm ET) Mo Williams scored 23 points in the Hornets' 103-94 win over the Raptors on Friday. 

Williams topped 20 for the fourth time in five games. He shot seven-of-14 from the field and four-of-eight on 3-pointers. Williams added seven assists. 

Williams scored 15 after halftime as the Hornets held off the Raptors. 

The Hornets next play Sunday at the Pistons. 


Wizards' Marcin Gortat pulls down 17 rebounds

(9:43 pm ET) Wizards center Marcin Gortat came up with 17 rebounds on Friday against the Heat.

Of those 17 rebounds, 13 came on the defensive end of the court. Gortat was no slouch on offense, shooting 7-12 from the field. He finished with 14 points. He also added two blocks and one assist during the contest. 


Jazz forward Derrick Favors doubles up on the 76ers

(9:40 pm ET) Jazz forward Derrick Favors posted a double-double on Friday against the 76ers.

Favors shot 5-14 from the field. He sunk five of his eight free throws, finishing with 15 points. Favors was active on the boards, pulling down 10 rebounds. He also added three assists and one steal during the contest. 


Pacers' David West picks up the double-double on Friday

(9:38 pm ET) Pacers forward David West picked up a double-double on Friday against the Bulls.

West shot 5-8 from the field, finishing with 10 points. He was active on the boards, pulling down 10 rebounds. West also added five assists during the contest. 


Al Jefferson's double-double leads Hornets

(9:37 pm ET) Al Jefferson posted his third double-double in four games to lead the Hornets to their fourth straight win, 103-94 over the Raptors, Friday. Jefferson also matched his season high with five assists. 

Jefferson shot 11-of-21 from the field for 23 points. He grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked two shots. 

The Hornets next play at the Pistons on Sunday. 


Bulls' Pau Gasol doubles up on the Pacers on Friday

(9:36 pm ET) Bulls forward Pau Gasol posted a double-double on Friday against the Pacers.

Gasol shot 7-17 from the field. He sunk all four of his free throws, finishing with 18 points. Gasol was also active on the boards, pulling down 10 rebounds. He added one assist and one block during the contest. 


Heat G Goran Dragic (back) won't return to Wizards game

(9:00 pm ET) Heat guard Goran Dragic suffered a lower back contusion and won't return to Friday night's game against the Wizards. 

Before leaving the game, Dragic played 29 minutes and scored 18 points and recorded seven assists. 


Suns bench P.J. Tucker for missing team bus, again

Tucker goes to the bench after missing the team bus to shootaround. It's the second time this season that Tucker has missed the bus. 


Pistons C Joel Anthony (groin) won't play Friday

(7:12 pm ET) Pistons center Joel Anthony will not play in Friday night's game against the Rockets, according to the Detroit Free Press

Anthony is out due to a sore right groin. Anthony is averaging 1.2 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.
