Rockets G Patrick Beverley (wrist) officially out for rest of season
(3:57 pm ET) As earlier reports suggested, Rockets guard Patrick Beverley will undergo season-ending surgery Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist, the team has announced.

The third-year NBA player will not return for the postseason.

Beverley suffered the injury during a game on March 23.

Beverley was averaging 10.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 30.8 minutes per game this season.


Nets coach Lionel Hollins on Brook Lopez: 'I want him back'
(3:18 pm ET) Coach Lionel Hollins was emphatic with reporters about wanting impending free agent Brook Lopez to resign with the Nets, according to the New York Daily News.

"I just said I want him back. How many times do I have to say that? I want him back," Hollins said. "But it's his call."

Lopez was named NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 28.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game during his last six games.

The Nets center is leads the team this season with 16.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.


Heat PF Udonis Haslem banged up but sees minutes increasing
(3:07 pm ET) Heat power forward Udonis Haslem has been playing with two slightly sprained ankles and a sore left knee, reports the Miami Herald.

With center Hassan Whiteside and power forward Chris Andersen already dealing with minor injuries, Haslem has not missed any games.

Haslem is averaging 15.6 minutes a game this season but has seen that time increased the last three games to about 33 minutes per.

Warriors forward Draymond Green dealing with shin injury

(3:00 pm ET) Warriors forward Draymond Green is suffering from a minor shin issue, which is putting his playing status for Tuesday's game at the Los Angeles Clippers in jeopardy, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

In 72 games, Green is averaging 11.8 points and 8.1 rebounds.


Bucks expect guard Michael Carter-Williams to play Monday

(2:37 pm ET) After attending the funeral of his grandfather over the weekend, Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams is expected to be available for Monday's game at Atlanta, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

In 57 games, Carter-Williams is averaging 14.5 points and 6.8 assists. The Bucks are 8 1/2-point underdogs.


Kings will rest center DeMarcus Cousins on Monday

(2:30 pm ET) Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will sit out of Monday's game at Memphis to rest, reports Yahoo Sports.

With Cousins dealing with a variety of ailments, coach George Karl had previously indicated he would like to rest Cousins. Forward Jason Thompson and Reggie Evans should receive more playing time with Cousins resting.

The Kings are 8-point underdogs.


Pacers list Stuckey as questionable Tuesday; Paul George out

(2:20 pm ET) Pacers guard Rodney Stuckey is suffering from a sore right wrist and is considered questionable for Tuesday's game at Brooklyn, the team announced.

Meanwhile, forward Paul George (leg) has not been cleared and has been ruled out of the game.


Heat center Hassan Whiteside (hand) resumes basketball activities

(2:17 pm ET) Heat center Hassan Whiteside has been cleared to be participate in basketball-related activities, the team announced.

Whiteside has missed the last three games with a lacerated right hand.

"The pain went down some and the doctor cleared me [to return to basketball activity]," he said. "I won't be 100 percent, but I can help the team by being a presence."

Whiteside was able to do some on-court work during Monday's practice and he hopes to play in Tuesday's game agasint the Spurs, reports the Palm Beach Post.

"As long as I don't spread my fingers and they keep them taped together, I can't reopen the stitches," he said. "It's surrounded by a pad, so it can be slapped and everything. It's just about what I can tolerate on the court with the pain. They cleared me. It's just the performance and how well I can play."


Timberwolves unveil injury report for Monday's game vs. Jazz

(2:08 pm ET) The Timberwolves continue to be plagued by numerous injuries and released a lengthy injury report for Monday's game against the Jazz.

Forward Anthony Bennett is listed as probable with an ankle injury, which he aggravated during Sunday's loss. Meanwhile, guard Ricky Rubio (ankle) was downgraded to doubtful, while guard Gary Neal (ankle) and centers Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and Gorgui Dieng (concussion) are out.

The Timberwolves are 6-point underdogs.


Nets unsure if forward Thaddeus Young (knee) will play Tuesday

Young sustained a left knee sprain during Wednesday's contest, which caused him to miss the last two games. In 66 games, Young is averaging 14.1 points and 5.1 rebounds.
