Iguodala was able to return to the game.

Warriors' Klay Thompson sustains right ear laceration, able to return
by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(5/27/2015) Warriors guard Klay Thompson left Wednesday's Game 5 matchup against the Rockets due to a right ear laceration.

In the fourth quarter, Thompson pump-faked to get Trevor Ariza in the air, who then accidentally collided his knee into the right side of Thompson's head. He was diagnosed with the ear injury and didn't need to be administered a concussion test, according to ESPN's Doris Burke.

Thompson had 20 points when he left the game. He has been cleared to return.

Coincidentally, Ariza was the same player involved when Stephen Curry sustained a head injury during Game 4 of the Western Conference finals. Curry passed two concussion exams and was able to return to the game.

Howard clapped his hands near Warriors center Andrew Bogut before putting them on his chest. Bogut pushed them away and the two were called for a double technical.

The technical will be reviewed by the NBA league office. If the Rockets win, and the technical is upheld, then Howard will be suspended for Game 6.

The Warriors held a 52-46 over the Rockets at halftime.

"That’s why I kept getting shots blocked,” Carroll said.
