Knicks list Carmelo Anthony as questionable for Saturday

(1:10 pm ET) The Knicks announced forward Carmelo Anthony is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Suns.

Anthony missed Thursday’s loss to the Bulls while dealing with soreness in his knee. With Anthony out, forward Travis Wear received his most extensive playing time of the season, scoring eight points. 


Report: Thunder F Kevin Durant will be game-time decision Friday

(12:44 pm ET) After sustaining a sprained ankle during Thursday’s loss to the Warriors, sources indicated Thunder forward Kevin Durant will be a game-decision for Friday’s game against the Lakers, reports Yahoo Sports.

After Thursday’s game, Durant told reporters he did not believe the injury is serious. Forward Perry Jones could be in-line for more playing time if Durant is unavailable Friday.

The Thunder are 6 ½ point favorites over the Lakers Friday.


Timberwolves' Mo Williams will be game-time decision Friday

(12:26 pm ET) Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders told reporters guard Mo Williams will be a game-time decision for Friday’s game at Boston.

Williams is dealing with a sore back, but was able to play 14 minutes during Tuesday’s loss to the Wizards. Williams is averaging 10.3 points through 17 games.


Nets G Sergey Karasev will be game-time decision Friday

Karasev missed Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors with a left oblique strain. In 11 games, Karasev is averaging 4.0 points and 1.5 rebounds.


Pelicans release guard Gal Mekel

In four games, Mekel averaged 1.5 points and 3.2 assists.


Heat expect forward Danny Granger to play Friday vs. Wizards

Granger missed the last two games while dealing with an illness. In seven games, Granger is averaging a career-low 4.0 points and 1.4 rebounds.


Nets expect Kevin Garnett to play Friday at Cleveland

Citing rest, Garnett did not play during Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors.

The Nets are 11 ½ point underdogs to the Cavaliers Friday.


Report: Cavaliers' Mike Miller to be activated Friday vs. Nets

Miller has missed the last seven games while dealing with a concussion. In 13 games, Miller is averaging a career-low 1.5 points and 2.1 rebounds.


Report: Mavericks confident they can re-sign Rajon Rondo

(10:59 am ET) With guard Rajon Rondo set to become a free agent after the season, sources indicated the Mavericks are confident they can re-sign Rondo, reports ESPN.

The Mavericks traded for Rondo Thursday, but whether Rondo remains in Dallas beyond this season has yet to be determined.


Hornets guard Lance Stephenson to miss next two games

(10:49 am ET) The Hornets announced guard Lance Stephenson did not travel with the team to Philadelphia and will not play Friday at Philadelphia and Saturday against the Jazz.

Stephenson is dealing with a pelvis sprain. His next opportunity to play will be Monday against the Nuggets. In 25 games, Stephenson is averaging 10.2 points and 4.8 assists.

Guard Gary Neal is listed as Stephenson’s top backup and is averaging 12.2 points and 2.6 rebounds through 19 games. 

The Hornets are favored by 4 ½ points over the 76ers Friday.
