Grizzlies consider Tony Allen (hamstring) questionable for Friday's game

(1:20 pm ET) Grizzlies guard Tony Allen is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder, reports ESPN.com.

Allen has been suffering from a hamstring strain, which has kept him out of the last two games. He also missed Wednesday's practice to nurse the injury. In 63 games, Allen is averaging 8.6 points and 4.4 rebounds.


Timberwolves G Kevin Martin is a game-time decision Wednesday

(1:14 pm ET) Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin said he will see how his hamstring feels closer to game time before deciding if he can play in Wednesday's game against the Raptors, reports the StarTribune.

The hamstring injury has prevented Martin from playing in the last five games.

The Timberwolves are 9 1/2-point underdogs.


Raptors guard Kyle Lowry (back) ruled out Wednesday

(12:50 pm ET) Raptors guard Kyle Lowry continues to be bothered by a sore back and he will not play in Wednesday's game at Minnesota, reports TSN.ca.

It is the fourth-straight game Lowry has missed due to the back issue. Lowry is not expected to play in Friday's contest either. Guard Greivis Vasquez has been starting in Lowry's place.

The Raptors are 9 1/2-point favorites.


Forward Lou Amundson wants to return to Knicks next season

"I want to be a Knick next season," Amundson said.

Bulls F Doug McDermott (back) ruled out Wednesday

It will be the fourth-consecutive game McDermott has missed while dealing with the back issue.

Bulls G Derrick Rose (knee) needs to practice more before returning

(12:19 pm ET) Bulls guard Derrick Rose is improving from knee surgery, but coach Tom Thibodeau said Rose needs to practice more before returning to game action, reports ESPNChicago.com.

"As far as playing a game or coming back full strength and all that, that's going to come," Rose said, per the Chicago Tribune. "My rhythm of the game will come."

Rose last played Feb. 23 after undergoing knee surgery and he said he is feeling good, but his conditioning needs to improve. He has been ruled out of Wednesday's game at Milwaukee.

The Bulls are 5-point favorites.


Rockets F Terrence Jones (lung) intends to play Wednesday

(12:13 pm ET) Rockets forward Terrence Jones was able to participate in shootaround Wednesday and said he will play in Wednesday's game against the Kings, the team announced.

Jones is suffering from a collapsed lung and last played March 19. He is not sure how many minutes he'll be able to play Wednesday.

The Rockets are 11 1/2-point favorites.


Hornets rule Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Cody Zeller out Wednesday

(12:09 pm ET) The Hornets will be without forwards Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Cody Zeller for Wednesday's game against the Pistons, the team announced.

It is the third-straight game Kidd-Gilchrist has missed with an ankle sprain, while it will be the seventh-consecutive contest Zeller has missed with a shoulder injury. Forwards Jeff Taylor and Jason Maxiell will likely player a larger role in Wednesday's game.

The Hornets are 5-point favorites.


Heat's Hassan Whiteside (hand) says he'll be 100 percent in two weeks

(12:02 pm ET) Although Heat center Hassan Whiteside was able to play 23 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs, he said he won't be 100 percent until the regular season nears its end, reports the Sun Sentinel.

"Two weeks and I can get back to my Golden Gloves," Whiteside said. "It will be perfect timing."

Whiteside was able to play Tuesday with a bandage on his right hand to protect a laceration, which required 10 stitches.

"It's an awkward injury," Whiteside said. "It's a terrible place to have stitches. There's really nothing I can do about it."


Cavaliers recall Joe Harris from NBADL
