Grizzlies PG Beno Udrih injures finger, X-rays negative

(10:46 pm ET) Grizzlies point guard Beno Udrih injured his finger and left his team's loss to the Bulls Friday, but X-rays on the finger came back negative, The Commercial Appeal reports.

Udrih scored 15 points on 5 of 8 shooting while playing 20 minutes off the bench Friday, adding two steals and one assist in the loss. The Grizzlies are set to face the Cavaliers Sunday.


Bulls SG Butler pours in 31 to help tame Grizzlies

(10:37 pm ET) Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler came through with another huge effort Friday in a defeat of rugged Memphis.

Butler scored 31 points, hitting all nine of his foul shots in the process. He is averaging 29.3 points in the last three games.


Bulls PF Mirotic sets season mark with 27 points Friday

(10:33 pm ET) Bulls emerging power forward Nikola Mirotic has been providing consistent production of late, but he outdid himself Friday in Memphis.

The rookie came off the bench to score a season-high 27 points on 7 of 10 shooting and added eight rebounds. He is now averaging 8.1 points per game.


Heat SF Danny Granger sees limited action Friday

(10:17 pm ET) Heat small forward Danny Granger saw limited action Friday, playing less than a minute and failing to record a shot in his team's 105-103 loss to the Wizards.

Granger missed the last two games with an illness. He'll have Saturday off before potentially seeing a larger role Sunday against the Celtics.


Heat SG Dwyane Wade scores team-high 28 vs. Wizards

(10:15 pm ET) Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade scored a team-high 28 points on 12 of 26 shooting in his team's 105-103 loss to the Wizards Friday.

Wade made two of his four three-point attempts, with one coming at the final buzzer with his team down five. He also racked up eight assists, four rebounds and one steal in 37 minutes while turning the ball over five teams. Wade has averaged 32.7 points in his last three games. He'll square off with the Celtics Sunday.


Wizards PF Nene scores 20 points vs. Heat

(10:12 pm ET) Wizards power forward Nene shared the team scoring lead Friday with 20 points on 8 of 10 shooting in his team's 105-103 win over the Heat.

Nene's excellent performance marked his second-best scoring production of the season behind a 22-point game on Nov. 1. He also picked up six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 26 minutes of action Friday. The Wizards will square off with the Suns Sunday.


Wizards PG John Wall posts 20-10 line vs. Heat Friday

(10:09 pm ET) Wizards point guard John Wall scored 20 points on 6 of 10 shooting from the field and 8 of 10 shooting from the free-throw line while dishing out 10 assists in his team's 105-103 win over the Heat in Miami Friday.

Wall has delivered eight double-doubles in 10 December games, failing to reach double digits in assists once and in points one other time. His 10 free throws attempted Friday marked his highest total since Nov. 12. Wall played 38 minutes in the win, his team's sixth straight, while also chipping in one rebounds. He'll square off with the Suns Sunday.


Cavaliers G Miller more than doubles season scoring output

(10:06 pm ET) Cavaliers guard Mike Miller certainly made the most of his opportunity to start Friday against the Nets. He drained 7 of 8 from 3-point range to help his team eke out a victory.

Those makes represented all his points as he finished with 21. He had not scored more than six in any game this year. He had tallied just 19 points all season heading into the game.


Cavaliers PF Kevin Love hits just one shot in victory

(10:01 pm ET) Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love scored a season-low six points in the Friday night defeat of Brooklyn. He hit just 1 of 10 from the field and missed all four of his 3-point attempts. He did yank down a game-high 14 rebounds.

It was the fewest field goals Love has made in one game since he went 0 for 5 against Denver to conclude the 2011-12 season.


Pistons PG Brandon Jennings scores team-high 22 vs. Raptors

(9:59 pm ET) Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings scored a team-high 22 points on 8 of 18 shooting, including 2 of 6 shooting from three-point range, in his team's 110-100 loss to the Raptors Friday.

Jennings hadn't come anywhere near 22 points in his first nine December games, entering play Friday with a 6.2-point scoring average for the month. He also racked up eight assists, four rebounds, one block and one steal in 31 minutes Friday. The Pistons take a three-game losing streak into Sunday's matchup with the Nets.
