Heavy minutes taking toll on Spurs forward Danny Green
by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(11:18 am ET) Spurs forward Danny Green is averaging a career-high 30.1 minutes per game, but he admits the extra playing time has taken a toll on his energy level, reports the San Antonio Express-News.

"Some days the energy is there," Green said. "Some days, you're fighting to find it."

With the Spurs dealing with a variety of injuries earlier this season, Green said he didn't have a choice, but to play.

"Right now is the healthiest we've been," Green said. "There are times we could have sat some guys, but we couldn't afford it. If you were healthy enough to play, you had to play."

Green has gone four consecutive games without scoring at least 10 points, but he said the ups and downs are part of the season.

"You can't lose confidence and change your game," Green said. "You have to stick with it, and hopefully the worm will turn."

Wall has not missed a contest this season and plans to play in all 82 games.

"I'm just a guy that always [doesn't] want to let my guys down," Wall said.
