He is averaging 7.6 points, 3.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds through his first 25 games played (11 starts).

Aaron Brooks and E'Twaun Moore will likely see extended minutes off the bench in Hinrich's absence. Chicago is 9 1/2-point home favorite against New Orleans.

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(11:08 am ET) The Heat will be without the services of center Chris Bosh and Justin Hamilton during Saturday's home game against the Grizzlies, coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters, per the Associated Press.

Bosh has been sidelined since Dec. 12 due to a calf injury. Chris Andersen and Udonis Haslem are expected to receive extended minutes in Bosh's absence. Hamilton will need to pass the league-mandated concussion protocol in order to return to action. He hasn't played since Dec. 21.

Miami is a 2 1/2-point home underdog against Memphis.

Williams has appeared in all 30 games this season for Miami, averaging 8.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest. Danny Granger could see an increase in minutes if Williams can't play.

Report: Ray Allen leaning toward retirement
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(9:40 am ET) Brian Windhorst of ESPN told KNR2-AM radio in Cleveland in an interview that veteran sharpshooter Ray Allen is leaning toward retirement.

Allen , 39, has drawn several interests from teams, including the Warriors, Cavaliers, Bulls, Spurs and Wizards. Because of his close relationship with LeBron James, it appeared as if Cleveland was the front-runner to acquire 39-year-old guard, who is weighing a return at some point during the second half of the season.

Last season, he averaged 9.6 points per contest while shooting 44.2 percent from the field, including 37.5 percent from behind the arc with the Heat.

He saw 25 minutes of action against the 76ers, dominating the glass while picking up one assist and one block. The Blazers will take on the Knicks Sunday.

Spurs' Boris Diaw returns despite illness
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(12:39 am ET) Spurs forward Boris Diaw was able to return to the court on Friday.

Diaw sat out on Thursday due to an illness. The move seemed precautionary, and Diaw was able to return after missing just one game. He played 25 minutes, scoring 10 points and pulling down six rebounds.

Grizzlies' Tony Allen plays despite eye issue
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(12:36 am ET) Grizzlies guard Tony Allen managed to play through an injury on Friday.

Allen was dealing with an eye issue, and missed three games due to the injury. He was initially ruled questionable to play on Friday, but was able to fight through it. Allen played 26 minutes, scoring 10 points and dishing out six assists.

Blazers SG Wesley Matthews nails seven treys vs. 76ers
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12:35 am ET) Trail Blazers shooting guard Wesley Matthews scored 25 points on 9 of 18 shooting, including 7 of 14 shooting from three-point range, in his team's 114-93 win over the 76ers Friday.

Matthews has scored at least 20 points in back-to-back performances for the first time in December thanks to his excellent shooting from behind the arc Friday. He also chipped in two assists, one rebound and one steal in 28 minutes against the 76ers. Matthews is set to square off with the Knicks Sunday.
