Suns send Goodwin, Warren and Ennis to the D-League

(9:10 pm ET) The Suns have sent Archie Goodwin, T.J. Warren and Tyler Ennis to the D-League.

The move may only be temporary, as all three players could return after the team's road trip. If that's the case, they could be back up on December 31. Ennis averaged 3.7 points over six games, Warren averaged 4.2 points in 10 games and Goodwin averaged 3.5 points in 10 games. 


Clippers' Spencer Hawes sitting out on Thursday

(8:55 pm ET) Clippers center Spencer Hawes will not play on Thursday against the Warriors. 

Hawes is dealing with a knee injury, and has already missed six games due to the injury. While Hawes is getting closer to returning, he'll need at least another day to get back on the court. The Clippers will take on the Raptors on Saturday. Hawes is averaging 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. 


Kings guard Ramon Sessions listed as questionable for Friday

(8:34 pm ET) Kings guard Ramon Sessions is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Suns. 

Sessions is dealing with a lower back strain. He missed one game due to the issue, but was able to return in a limited capacity on Monday. Sessions only played six minutes due to the injury. He's averaging 6.1 points per game. 


Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving dealing with knee contusion

(8:17 pm ET) Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving is dealing with a left knee contusion, according to the Plain Dealer.

Irving was able to play 42 minutes against the Heat on Thursday, but was diagnosed with the injury following the contest. He was treated by team trainers, but it was determined that he would not require an MRI. Irving finished with 25 points and three assists. 


Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire may need more recovery days

(8:13 pm ET) Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire may take more recovery days moving forward, according to the New York Post

Stoudemire was announced as a late game-time decision for Thursday's game, though he ultimately played. Coach Derek Fisher said things have been tough as the season has progressed. "When his minutes jumped up the past few weeks, his recovery was tougher for him," Fisher said. Fisher stressed that Stoudemire wasn't dealing with any serious issues. Both Stoudemire and Fisher agreed that the forward might receive more "recovery days" moving forward. Stoudemire has averaged 13.4 points while playing in 27 games this season. 


Heat guard Dwyane Wade scores 31 points on Thursday

(8:06 pm ET) Heat guard Dwyane Wade busted out a vintage performance on Thursday against the Cavaliers.

Wade shot 12-28 from the field, including 2-5 from beyond the arc. He was able to sink all five of his free throws, finishing with 31 points. Wade added five rebounds and five assists. 


Cavaliers' LeBron James goes for 30 versus former team

(8:03 pm ET) Cavaliers forward LeBron James scored 30 points on Thursday against the Heat.

James shot 9-16 from the field, including 2-8 from beyond the arc. He hit 10 of his 18 free throws. James also added four rebounds and eight assists. James injured his leg in the third quarter, and briefly left the contest, but was able to return in the fourth. He was experiencing tightness in his leg, but the injury does not appear to be serious. 


Spurs forward Boris Diaw does not play Thursday due to illness

(7:59 pm ET) Spurs forward Boris Diaw did not play Thursday due to an illness, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

Diaw was dealing with an 100 degree fever, but it sounds like he could have gutted it out if the team needed him. Coach Greg Popovich said he wanted to conserve bodies for the team's game against New Orleans on Friday, and opted to give Diaw a rest. Diaw is averaging 9.1 points per game. 


Lakers guard Kobe Bryant to miss Thursday's game with soreness

(6:37 pm ET) Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will not play Thursday against the Bulls.

Bryant is sitting due to "overall soreness." Coach Byron Scott said Bryant still needs to raise his energy level. Bryant rested on Tuesday due to the same issue. Scott has already announced he plans to cut Kobe's minutes once he's able to return. The 36-year-old Bryant is averaging 24.6 points per game.


Bulls' Kirk Hinrich out against the Lakers on Thursday

(6:19 pm ET) Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich will not play on Thursday against the Lakers, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Hinrich is dealing with a hamstring injury. He missed Tuesday's game due to the issue. Hinrich came into Thursday's game listed as questionable, but will need another day to recover. He's averaging 7.6 points per game.
