(3:17 pm ET) Lakers forward Xavier Henry may have torn his left Achilles tendon in practice Monday. Henry will be getting an MRI on the injury.

Henry missed the entire preseason with a knee injury and missed time last season with a wrist injury.

Henry is averaging 2.2 points per game.

Report: Nuggets' Javale McGee gets X-ray on tibia
(2:53 pm ET) Nuggets center Javale McGee had an X-ray on his left tibia Monday after leaving Sunday's game against the Lakers, according to the Denver Post. He is listed as day to day.

McGee is averaging 5.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

Denver hosts Chicago on Tuesday.

Wizards coach Randy Wittman: Nene could miss 'a game of two'
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(2:42 pm ET) Wizards forward Nene visited a foot specialist on Monday, coach Randy Wittman told reporters, per the Washington Post. Wittman indicated Nene could miss "a game or two" with a right foot injury, but does not believe he'll be sidelined for an extended period of time.

In 11 games, he is averaging 10.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest.

Hornets' Jeff Taylor not appealing suspension
(2:37 pm ET) Hornets forward Jeff Taylor told the media Monday that he will not be appealing his 24-game suspension.

Reporters said that he accepted full responsibility for his actions and accepts the punishment.

Taylor was suspended by NBA commissioner Adam Silver for pleading guilty to a domestic violence charge. Taylor is eligible to return Dec. 17 against the Suns.

Thunder guard Russell Westbrook could be back Friday
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(2:32 pm ET) Thunder coach Scott Brooks said guard Russell Westbrook, who has been out since late October because of a fractured right hand, participated in "most" of the team's practice Monday, including contact drills, according to The Oklahoman

Brooks would not rule out Westbrook returning to the lineup Friday against the Knicks. However, he added, "We'll make that decision later on."

Because the Thunder had to use the 10-day hardship because of myriad injuries, Westbrook isn't eligible to return Wednesday against the Jazz. The hardship timeframe expires Thursday.

Westbrook was injured in the second game of the season Oct. 30 at the Clippers.

Wizards forward Otto Porter returns to practice Monday
(2:28 pm ET) Wizards forward Otto Porter was able to return to practice Monday, but is being listed as  questionable for Tuesday against the Hawks.

Porter reiterated that his hamstring injury, which kept him out of Saturday's game against the Bucks, isn't a strain

Porter is averaging 6.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Thunder F Kevin Durant takes part in 'most' of Monday practice
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(2:27 pm ET) Thunder small forward Kevin Durant participated in "most" of Oklahoma City's practice on Monday, which included contact drills, reports the Oklahoman. Durant has made some progress in his recovery from foot surgery and could be back in the starting lineup as early as the end of the week.

The Thunder will play the Jazz on Wednesday, followed by the Knicks on Friday.

Because the Thunder applied for a 10-day hardship waiver, Durant won't be eligible to play on Wednesday even if he's healthy. The hardship ends on Thursday, which could set up for a Friday return, if he's fully recovered.

Wolves G Kevin Martin will visit a specialist on Monday
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(2:22 pm ET) Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders told reporters Monday that guard Kevin Martin will visit a specialist on Monday to determine if he'll require surgery on his broken wrist, the Star Tribune reports.

Martin scored 71 points in the previous two games played before sustaining the injury. He averaged 20.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists through nine games.

Wizards forward Nene misses practice Monday
(2:20 pm ET) Wizards forward Nene missed practice Monday with a foot injury. Nene injured his foot during Saturday's game against the Bucks and did not return.

Nene is averaging 10.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
