Timberwolves' Nikola Pekovic (ankle) out remainder of the season
(7:05 pm ET) Nikola Pekovic has been out since March 13 with an ankle injury and the Timberwolves announced Monday that the center will not return this season.

Pekovic is currently second on the team this season with 7.5 rebounds per game and was also averaging 12.5 points.


76ers F Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (shoulder) out for Monday
(6:43 pm ET) 76ers forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (left shoulder soreness) will sit out Monday's game against the Lakers, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Mbah a Moute is third on the 76ers this season with 10.1 points per game. 


Grizzlies recall F Jarnell Stokes from D-League

(6:29 pm ET) The Grizzlies recalled forward Jarnell Stokes from their D-League affiliate Monday, the team has announced.

Stokes has bounced back and forth with the Iowa Energy all season.

Since being selected in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft by the Jazz and then traded, Stokes has played in 17 games for Grizzlies and has averaged 2.7 points and 6.5 minutes per game.


Lakers G Jeremy Lin, Carlos Boozer both out for Monday
(5:46 pm ET) Lakers guard Jeremy Lin and forward Carlos Boozer are both out for Monday's game in Philadelphia with upper respiratory infections, the Los Angeles Times reports.

It had been reported earlier that Boozer would be available.

Lin missed Sunday's game in Brooklyn with an upper respiratory infection while Boozer has sat the last four games.

The Lakers are 4.5-point favorites against the 76ers.


Knee soreness to sideline 76ers guard Jason Richardson

(5:44 pm ET) 76ers guard Jason Richardson is dealing with soreness and swelling in his knee, which will keep him sidelined for the next few games, reports The Inquirer.

Richardson has only appeared in 15 games this season due to knee and foot injuries. He is averaging 8.6 points and 3.8 rebounds. Guard Hollis Thompson could see his minutes increase with Richardson out.


Hornets' Zeller is a game-time decision Monday; Kidd-Gilchrist out

(5:31 pm ET) Hornets forward Cody Zeller will test out his injured shoulder during pregame before determining if he will play in Monday's game against the Celtics, the team announced. The injury has caused Zeller to miss the last five games.

Meanwhile, forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has been ruled out with an ankle sprain. It will be the second-straight game he has missed because of the injury.

The Hornets are 3 1/2-point favorites.


Report: Trail Blazers to sign Tim Frazier for remainder of season

(5:20 pm ET) The Trail Blazers plan to sign guard Tim Frazier for the rest of the season, a source told Yahoo Sports.

Frazier appeared in six games for the 76ers this season and averaged 5.7 points and 7.2 assists. He was released by the team in February. 


Heat unveil lengthy injury report for Tuesday's game vs. Spurs

(5:03 pm ET) The Heat have six players listed as questionable, probable or doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Spurs, reports the Miami Herald.

The following players are listed as questionable: Chris Andersen (calf), Michael Beasley (elbow), Luol Deng (knee) and Hassan Whiteside (hand).

Meanwhile, guard Dwyane Wade is considered probable with a knee issue, while guard Shabazz Napier is doubtful with a hip injury.


Rockets G Patrick Beverley (wrist) officially out for rest of season
(3:57 pm ET) As earlier reports suggested, Rockets guard Patrick Beverley will undergo season-ending surgery Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist, the team has announced.

The third-year NBA player will not return for the postseason.

Beverley suffered the injury during a game on March 23.

Beverley was averaging 10.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 30.8 minutes per game this season.


Nets coach Lionel Hollins on Brook Lopez: 'I want him back'
(3:18 pm ET) Coach Lionel Hollins was emphatic with reporters about wanting impending free agent Brook Lopez to resign with the Nets, according to the New York Daily News.

"I just said I want him back. How many times do I have to say that? I want him back," Hollins said. "But it's his call."

Lopez was named NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 28.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game during his last six games.

The Nets center is leads the team this season with 16.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.
