Wizards SF Otto Porter returns to action Tuesday

(9:49 pm ET) Wizards small forward Otto Porter returned to action Tuesday, scoring six points on 2 of 4 shooting in 20 minutes in his team's 106-102 loss to the Hawks.

Porter missed Saturday's game while nursing a minor hamstring injury. He also managed to grab three rebounds in Tuesday's loss. The Wizards will head to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers Wednesday.


Wizards PG John Wall doubles up vs. Hawks Tuesday

(9:45 pm ET) Wizards point guard John Wall scored a team-high 21 points on 6 of 15 shooting, including 2 of 5 shooting from three-point range, while dishing out 13 assists in his team's 106-102 loss to the Hawks Tuesday.

The double-double was Wall's eighth in his team's 13 games but his first in his last three games. He also managed five rebounds and one steal in 38 minutes, which was his highest usage since playing 43 minutes on Nov. 5. The Wizards came into Tuesday's contest with five wins in their last six games, and they'll look to bounce back Wednesday against the Cavaliers.


Hawks PF Paul Millsap delivers second straight double-double

(9:39 pm ET) Hawks power forward Paul Millsap scored 17 points on 7 of 14 shooting while grabbing 11 rebounds in his team's 106-102 win over the Wizards Tuesday.

Millsap turned in a 15-12 line in his previous fame Friday before continuing the trend Tuesday, racking up his fifth double-double of the season. He also kicked in two steals, one assist and one block in 33 minutes in the win, Atlanta's second straight. They'll look to make it three in a row Wednesday against the Raptors.


Bucks C John Henson sprains foot Tuesday, will not return

(9:04 pm ET) Bucks center John Henson suffered a sprained left foot in Tuesday's game against the Pistons and will not return, the team announced.

Henson had to be helped to the locker room by two teammates afters suffering the injury in the first half. His night ends with no points and one rebound in four minutes.


Thunder SF Perry Jones remains without timetable

(8:47 pm ET) Thunder small forward Perry Jones remains without a timetable for return as he contines to recover from a knee injury, The Oklahoman reports.

"I have no injury update on Perry," coach Scott Brooks said. "He hasn’t participated in any parts of practice. He’s just with our medical staff. Just a normal rehab process for his knee. That’s the only thing I know of right now."

Jones has missed three weeks of action since suffering a knee injury in a game at Toronto.

Report: Lakers awarded disabled player exception for Steve Nash

The exception will allow the Lakers to add a player either in trade or free agency despite being over the salary cap. Nash will miss the season due to nerve damage in his back.
