X-rays on Bulls PF Taj Gibson's ankle come back clean
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1:34 am ET) X-rays on the sprained ankle of Bulls power forward Taj Gibson have come back negative, ESPNChicago.com reports.

Gibson has dealt with multiple ankle issues this season, and he was seen in a walking boot and crutches after suffering his latest injury in Friday's game. The Bulls don't play again until Monday (and again Tuesday), but it's possible the power forward will need some time on the shelf to give the ankle time to heal.

Blazers PG Damian Lillard scores team-high 21 vs. Bulls
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1:04 am ET) Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard scored a team-high 21 points on 7 of 9 shooting, including 4 of 4 shooting from three-point range, in his team's 105-87 win over the Bulls Friday.

Lillard helped his team open a double-digit lead by the end of the first quarter and the Blazers didn't look back, building the lead to 24 points by the end of the third before taking the foot off the gas. Lillard played a season-low 26 minutes in the blowout but still managed to turn in his fifth straight 20-point performance while adding nine assists, six rebounds and one steal. The Blazers are red hot, taking a six-game winning streak into Sunday's game in Boston.

Bulls PF Nikola Mirotic paces offense with 24-11 line vs. Blazers
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1:00 am ET) Bulls power forward Nikola Mirotic exploded for a season-high 24 points on 7 of 14 shooting, including 4 of 7 shooting from three-point range, while grabbing 11 rebounds in his team's 105-87 loss to the Blazers Friday.

Mirotic hadn't scored more than 12 points in a game coming into Friday but doubled his previous high, leading his team in scoring while playing a team-high 35 minutes off the bench. His big workload was in part due to an ankle sprain suffered by starting power forward Taj Gibson. Mirotic also kicked in two assists in the loss, his team's third in its last four games. The Bulls will look to bounce back Monday in Utah.

Warriors' Andre Iguodala scores season-high 17 vs. Jazz
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12:56 am ET) Warriors shooting guard Andre Iguodala scored a season-high 17 points on 7 of 8 shooting, including 2 of 2 shooting from behind the arc, in his team's 101-88 win over the Jazz Friday.

It wasn't a typical night for the Warriors, as the team shot out to a 28-13 lead in the first quarter and maintained a huge lead throughout. Iguodala played 25 minutes off the bench during his sharpshooting performance, delivering his second straight double-digit performance but only his third such performance of the season. He also kicked in three rebounds and one assist in the win. The Warriors are set to take on the Thunder Sunday.

Jazz C Enes Kanter scores team-high 18 vs. Warriors
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12:51 am ET) Jazz center Enes Kanter scored a team-high 18 points on 8 of 10 shooting in his team's 101-88 loss to the Warriors Friday.

The Jazz fell behind early Friday, taking a 28-13 deficit into the start of the second quarter and a 54-32 deficit into halftime. They were able to make the game more respectable with a 31-point fourth quarter, but by that point the damage was done. Kanter has scored at least 16 points in seven of his last 10 games, but though he managed 15 rebounds in a double-double Tuesday, he managed just five rebounds to go with three assists in 20 minutes Friday. The Jazz will look to bounce back Saturday against the Pelicans.

Bulls PF Taj Gibson sprains ankle Friday, won't return
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12:26 am ET) Bulls power forward Taj Gibson suffered an ankle sprain in the third quarter of Friday's game against the Blazers and will not return, the team announced.

Gibson appeared to be in severe pain after suffering the injury and ultimately had to be helped off the court and to the locker room. Though the the team didn't have any further announcement about the severity of the injury, it's entirely possible the injury could cost Gibson some time. The Bulls don't play again until Monday and Tuesday.

Warriors C David Lee making 'very good' progress
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/21/2014) The Warriors said during Friday's game that center David Lee (hamstring) is making "very good" progress after being examined at halftime, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Lee is scheduled to be re-evaluated during the team's upcoming five-game road trip, which begins Sunday. He's played just one game this season due to his hamstring issues.

Shved came into the game dealing with a back injury. He was ruled questionable to play. Shved didn't start, but was able to play 18 minutes. He scored 15 points and had five assists.
