Clippers' J.J. Redick scores team-high 23 points in loss

(6:20 pm ET) Clippers guard J.J. Redick scored a team-high 23 points during Saturday’s 110-98 loss to the Raptors.

Redick shot 9 of 16 from the field including 5 of 9 from 3-point range. He also added three assists and one block. Redick has scored 20 or more points in three of his last five games.

The Clippers next play Monday against the Jazz.


Report: Grizzlies rule Zach Randolph out Saturday at Miami

(6:13 pm ET) Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph has been ruled out of Saturday’s game at Miami, reports the Sun Sentinel.

It will be the third straight game Randolph has missed while dealing with a knee injury. Center Kosta Koufos has been starting in Randolph’s place.

The Grizzlies are 2 1/2-point favorites over the Heat.


Hornets' Al Jefferson cleared to play vs. Magic

(6:08 pm ET) The Hornets announced center Al Jefferson will be available to play Saturday against the Magic.

Jefferson was listed as probable with a groin strain. In 30 games, Jefferson is averaging 18.6 points and 8.2 rebounds.

The Hornets were 5 1/2-point favorites over the Magic, but are now 6-point favorites.


Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas notches double-double in win

(6:03 pm ET) Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas scored 22 points on 8 of 13 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds to help lead the Raptors to a 110-98 victory over the Clippers Saturday.

It was Valanciunas’ ninth double-double of the season and the second time he recorded at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in a game. Valanciunas also added one assist.

By recording 22 points, Valanciunas has scored 20 or more points in back-to-back games for the first time this season.

The Raptors next play Sunday at Denver.


Report: Hornets' Stephenson to sit out Saturday and Monday

(5:45 pm ET) Hornets guard Lance Stephenson will be held out of Saturday’s game against the Magic and Monday’s game vs. the Bucks, reports the Charlotte Observer.

Stephenson has missed the last five games while dealing with a pelvic strain. Guard Gerald Henderson has been replacing Stephenson in the starting lineup.

The Hornets were 5 1/2-point favorites over the Magic, but are now 6-point favorites.


Wizards' Webster expected to make season debut on road trip

(5:33 pm ET) While Wizards guard Martell Webster will not make his season debut during Saturday’s game against the Celtics, coach Randy Wittman told reporters he will play during the team’s upcoming road trip, reports The Washington Post.

Webster has yet to play this season due to a back injury. The first game of the road trip is Monday at Houston.


Trail Blazers hopeful Chris Kaman will play Sunday

(5:03 pm ET) Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts told reporters he is hopeful center Chris Kaman will be available to play Sunday against the Knicks, reports The Columbian.

Kaman’s wife recently gave birth which caused Kaman to miss Friday’s win over the 76ers. In 19 games, Kaman is averaging 9.8 points and 6.1 rebounds.


Report: Warriors center Andrew Bogut ruled out Saturday

(4:53 pm ET) Warriors center Andrew Bogut will not play Saturday against the Timberwolves, reports the CSN Bay Area.

It will be the ninth straight game Bogut has missed while dealing with a knee issue. Forward Marreese Speights has been starting in place of Bogut. The Warriors also listed Festus Ezeli (ankle) as out.

The Warriors are 18-point favorites.


Report: Lakers expect Kobe Bryant to play Sunday vs. Suns

(4:37 pm ET) After missing three straight games due to rest, Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is expected to play Sunday against the Suns, reports the L.A. Daily News.

Prior to missing the last three games to rest, Bryant had not missed a game this season. He is listed as probable for Sunday's game. The Lakers are 1-2 during Bryant’s absence.

Guard Wayne Ellington has seen his minutes increase with Bryant out. Ellington is averaging 12.0 points over the last three games.


Report: Blazers' LaMarcus Aldridge not expected to play Sunday

(4:18 pm ET) Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Knicks, reports The Oregonian.

Aldridge is dealing with an upper respiratory illness and was not at Saturday’s practice. The illness also kept Aldridge out of Friday’s victory over the 76ers. Forward Thomas Robinson started in Aldridge’s place and scored seven points.
